I've been waiting to get the target from bricklink so I could finish my entry. And it worked out that it is my 900th post too! So without further ado, I present the classic medieval hero/villian combination:
The hero(es): Robin Hood (in disguise), Little John and Friar Tuck
The villian(s) (plus one damsel): The Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince John and Maid Marian
Both together:
The whole robbing from the rich to give to the poor gallery:

Steve, I don't know, but that target is a bit far away for even Robin Hood to hit...
That's great! The two opposite trees are something that really stick out at me.BreadMan wrote:

Hi --
Here is my entry for this contest. Hope you guys like it!
Title: The Quik and The Dead
Hero: The Quik
Why? For the pun in the title, of course! Actually the idea was in part inspired by Sir Quiky, who appears in some advertisements for Warwick Castle, and the pun. What clinched it was the fact that the visor piece sits perfectly between the ears and really does give the illusion that he's wearing a helmet, without any cutting of his head or of helmets. The heraldry is customized to be appropriate (yes that's a real heraldric rabbit) and the sticker was made using the wonderful templates you guys provide here.
Villian: The Dead
I was going for an undead demon Valkyrie from H*ll here, and included his unfortunate victim just in case he wasn't dangerous looking enough. The wings are from the Duplo dragon (if you pop them out you'll find that there is a hole in the round base just large enough for a technique pin...). The weapon is from a bionicle mini set, with the extra handles cut off.
This will take you to the whole gallary (lots of pics from varying angles).
Enjoy!

Wow, great work, SuperRadz! The undead valkyrie looks great, and his victim just heightens the effect. Also, I love the use of the spiral staircase in making it look as if the hero has just come from below; sort of a climax-type thing one would see in an RPG.

story: ok, an evil deamon has risen from the depths of Megablocks and brought chaos all around poisoning waters to run with blood etc (aka the tipical post apocaliptic deamon) and this thing is met by a brave and strong baron with his two dragon head gauntlets involked with ancient powers.
here are the pics, enjoy

A heroic knight passing though a forest comes upon a young peasant womanbound and gagged underneath a tree! Without even thinking, he stops to cut the ropes and remove the gag, quickly finding out why she was bound and gagged in the middle of the forest with nobody else in sight.

Azure, a saltire cantoned with a star in chief and in base and two crescents addorsed in the flanks, argent.

Thanks a lot! I was hoping to get that sense of motion and urgency from the hero half of the MOC.eNiGMa wrote:Wow, great work, SuperRadz! Incidently, I found the Warwick Castle brochure and scanned it in here.
Thanks, glad to be here! I figured 3+ years of lurking was long enough....eNiGMa wrote:Welcome to CC!

I love the action in your vig, Modesty. The yellow raft looks out of place, but perhaps that will add to the humor of the vignette (as that's the best use for a vig )?
