Post by architect »

Congratulations to all of the winners in the Colossal Castle Contest III! Your creations show the finest that Classic Castle has to offer. Thank you to everyone who entered the contest. The huge number of talented entries is what truly made this year's Castle contest Colossal.

The scores were very close so we have provided an Honorable Mention for the top five entries in each category that did not win. Please contact Lenny Hoffman or myself if you have won a category so we can ship out the prizes! The Master Builder prize will be announced in a few days.

Wow, I forgot there were so many categories! It really makes me wish I had participated....

The Royal Study was my favorite of the winning entries. It's smooth, the colors work well together, and the space was utilized well.

Congratulations to all the winners and the runners up!

Hey,

Congratulations to all the winners and also to all of the other great entries. It was really hard to decide because there were many outstanding creations in every category. Perhaps my favorite thing about the CCC is that it helps spread the word of CC to the wider LEGO community and attracts new builders to the castle theme. I think two of the category winners were new to CC (AmberStone and Mark Stafford), as were several of the honorable mentions (Ryan, Adrian, Mockingbird, etc). CC - slowly pulling those space builders back into the middle ages. :)

Thanks for getting the winners page up, Ben.

Hee hee. I did the totalling, so I know who won Master Builder. Not telling yet though.

Wow, I must not have looked at some of the later entries, because I don't remember many of the winners. And I think I'd remember most of them as they are good MOCs.

P.S. Its about time ;)

Congradulations all of you!!! Every single MOC listed was spectacular! I am not so much for custom made figs, but these were all so well done! The midieval life catagory winner was my particular favorite! I like all the small details and the overall beleiveability of the entire scene.

Again great job, I hope to see more of your stuff, and also participate next go-around. I barely missed it this time.

Have a great day,
In His grip, Chris
