Now, now, don't you know better than to ask that? Probably won't be until June... :)

That's only because this contest will be so hard to judge. All the entries look great!

Thanks for providing the neat and tidy list, it's much easier to view them all together now!

EDIT2: The following post has absolutely no bearing on reality and was written as a result of completly incorrect observations. I apologize to everyone I offended, and will be more careful and less hasty in the future.

I really, really hate to nitpick, but since nobody else has:
I noticed that many of these entries seriously overhang the size limit. Scnicker's demon wings, Sir Dillon's wizard flame, Hothir's tree, E's vikings, BreadMan's trees, SuperRadz's demon wings, and Brickboy's dragon's head all seem to be outside the individual baseplate's 12x12 limit, overhanging the baseplate by more than 2 studs. I don't think they should be DQ'd, I just think we builders should pay more attention to the rules next time. I spent an hour trying to get my stupid tree to overhang by less than 1 stud.
EDIT: afer having reread the rules (see next post) I corrected the above list.
Three-stud overhangs aside, these are all wonderfully inspired and well-built entries.

I really look forward to congratulating the winner!

I must object Mikal. The wings overlap not more than 2 studs. It's because of how the photo was taken. Also my main baseplate was 8x8 and with 2 studs added, it's 10x10. Disqualify the entry if you want, I really don't care. I was in this contest for the fun of it. But let the admins decide if it's against the rules or not. I've paid attention to my entry, don't worry a bit.

I guess I didn't make it very clear, but I don't think anyone's entry should be DQ'd.

Okay, I'm adoofus. I was for some reason under the impression that only a one stud overlap was allowed, I just reread the rules:

Many apologies.

No problem Mikal. And I want to apologize for reacting so harsh. I'm ill and also having a hard time these days, so I overreacted. Sorry for that outburst again :)

Have a nice day,

Yeah, mine exceeds the 2 stud overlap (though in only 2 directions, but it still probably goes over 12x12). Figured I'd try and get away with it because, hey, they're just tree branches. I don't mind if I'm disqualified, I'm just in for the fun of it (contests are a great excuse to find time to build) and not expecting to win anything with all these other great entries. Apologies to those who worked to keep inside the limit, I guess its not really fair to them.

I should probably come up with a name for mine...hmm...how 'bout "Questing Knight."

So I'm taking not white to mean still on the list? Well I don't think I should be, since I took great care in making sure my wings *exactly* fit in the 12x12. Keep in mind that I take 12x12 to mean not just up to the end of the second stud, but rather to the midpoint between the 2nd and 3rd (i.e., the size of a 12x12 plate). Perhaps the parallax in the pictures makes it look different, since it is close. It's big of you not to want the accused entries DQ'd, but if you didn't want it called to everyone's attention, you could have voiced your concerns over PM. It's not nice to be publicly lectured on not following the rules, especially since I believe I have followed them.

If I had thought it necessary to build a giant 12x12 box to show I was following the rules, I would have, and perhaps I shall in the future.

I completely agree with this. I am not on the "list" but was rather offended by it nontheless. The only person who should be publishing a list of questionable MOCs is the person running the contest. If you thought there was a problem with some entries then you should have PMed Anthony and not gone public. Man, who would have thought that such little contest would cause such heat?!

Josh

PS. SuperRadz, you don't have to prove anything, if there was a problem with your entry an Admin would have contacted you.
