Hey all,

David Gregory (crazylegoman) has posted a big gallery of Narnia creations:

I'm actually not sure which creations are whose, as it looks like this was part of a recent InduLUG display.

Well, these are pretty good, but they don't exactly get my blood pumping. Aslan is...interesting, but an excellent size.

The main thing was the title, "Reincarnated Soldiers." I'd go with "brought back to life," or "de-rockified"

, much more quickly.

The detail is pretty cool, but I also like the simplicity of the tent. That was well done. This setup was probably a really great show attraction.

Overall bery well done. I just found this last night, but I was to tired to write a thread about it.

I like the simplicity of the centaurs, they look pretty good and would be easy to implement on a large scale.

I also really like the use of Duplo elements in this set-up. There are duplo knights, and the Duplo Aslan is a great size. The various bad dudes are also perdy great, and in good assortment.

The tent was well constructed, of good size, with (what looks like) good space inside.

One of my only gripes is the size of the ice palace. While a neat MOC the scale is way off. I would have preferred possibly just a face, or front, or gateway or something for the same about of bricks. More detail could be added, and the scale would be better. But like I said, it was a neat MOC and this is a minor problem.

Well worth the look. There are some cool designs and building techniques!

So, thanks for posting this Bruce, I would have done it this morning if there wan't already one.

That's a very cool battle! I really like the pic of the bear killing the faun. This would have been a great entry in the battles contest.

Cool! I like the brick-built lamppost and the pavilian (tent) the best. It is a bit small, but I think the ice palace works as part of the scene.

Quite a bit of good building here. I love brick-built tents like Aslans. Also, I like the creative use of LEGO and DUPLO here to really almost recreate the final battle sequence. Actually, looking over all of the MOCs, you could almost convince me that LEGO came out with a Narnia line afterall~

Oh... and it's worth mentioning... the landscaping is very nice.

It is, I completely forgot to mention it. I think they did a superb job with the landscaping. Thanks for bringing that up.

I like how you used other lines of figs in the battles (i.e. Green Goblin, Jar Jar, Chewbacca, dinosuars, polar bears...)

Oh the creativity. I especially like how you used Gryffindor sheilds and crusader bodies as Aslan's humans. Maybe you could work on some helmets.

The ice castle is interesting... I would love to see one on a bigger scale that really dominated a layout...

Though these are some great MOCs I find myself shaking my head at his use of megablock (spits) figures. Though at least he isnt using them as good guys

Maybe I keep missing them, but I can't see any non-lego figs anywhere. I see Duplo, but no "cough!"megablocks "cough!"

Awwww... That is too bad. It still doesn't have any effect on my like of the display though, especially becuase I can barely make THEM out.
