Hey All,

The contest is going very well. Thanks to all you who have entered, I have been impressed by your entries so far. I have redone the MOCpage for the contest and it now has all the entries listed on it. Here's the link if you are interested:

2nd Annual Battles Contest MOCpage

Keep up the great entries!
Josh

PS. A few of you didn't name your entries or give much of a description, so I used a generic name. If your battle has a generic name and you wish to change that, please contact me with the name.
AFOL and his money are easily parted.

I'm enjoying this contest so far... I think it may be one of my favorite here at CC, especially now that we've got vikings and scorpians and all of that in the mix.

Hordesman's bar fight idea is great... although at first I thought this was Nathan sitting at the table. :-P

Deeplinking is easy enough. Simply go to your brickshelf folder, and view all of the images in the folder. When you find the image you want to deeplink to, click on the image.

When you click on the image, it will appear, enlarged, in a frame of blue. Click on the image once again, and it will be displayed by itself, without the blue frame. The URL in your navigator window is the link you will need to "deeplink".

Your welcome

That's what the "when public" part of the link refers to.

As a refresher course for those who need it, folders on Brickshelf do NOT automatically become viewable to the public. The Brickshelf moderators have to approve them first. Basically, they need to make sure that the pics relate to LEGO, and are not pornographic, spamolific, or anything offtopic.

Depending on how quickly the Mods on Brickshelf are working, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to over a day for a new folder (or a folder with new pics) to be moderated.

Therefore, for some quick-posting people, it happens quite often that people will post links to new creations/pics here, and their Brickshelf folder won't be Moderated yet.

Therefore, it's a common courtesy of many users to add "Upon Moderation" "When Moderated" "When Public" or some such phrase to the uploading of their gallery links here.

As you will see on clicking Lord Azreal's link now, his folder is now moderated and is publically viewable.

That's pretty good - the pics are nice and chaotic, like a good battle should be. The elephant harness is well done, too - it immediatly evokes the classic dragon barding. I also see that you've got some Wolves assisting the Dragons. All in all, very cool.

Very interesting, looks like the Wolfpack got some job with the Masters. I'm not sure about the elephant idea (elephants+Dragon Masters=???), but it looks fearsome. The action going on is really good (The DM getting hit on the top of the elephant is a great detail) This one is my favorite point of view.

Ya I would have put a background on that one if the rules let me but I decided to have the background blurred instead.
The Dragon masters with the wolfpack are the closest I could get to a middle eastern army with my pieces especially the dragon helms. Thanks for the comments. :D

Hi!

Just use the button "quote" on the right of the posting you want to quote.

Sultan is a title just like Lord,Baron, etc. And Lord Sultan sounds way off, they didn't have the "lord" title in mideast countries. Just a minor fact :P
