This guy is exactly how I would make a hang man! (except I wouldn't have thought of that head)
I also really like the noose, and I am glad you used only Lego pieces for it. The rubber bands work realyl well as the twists. Overall a cool fig, and a great prop!

Great noose, and the head looks good for the fig. I'll also remember this design if I ever get around to making a noose.

Amazingly realistic–looking noose. I am glad you are updating so often. (Should I say that? Maybe I've jinxed it .)

Edit: I just realized the different colored backgrounds for each. Looks nice in the gallery.
Edit 2, several months/years later: I'm fixing my signature, it was missing the 'c'.

Like everbody else said (aren't I original?) I like the noose.
But, I think you should've choosen the older style hood, or put a cape on this guy...I don't think the hood with nothing else looks very good.

I'm glad that the noose works convincing for you guys.
By the way, here is a shot of the noose in action; I already used it in my city square.
For today's character(s):
These two gipsies are entertaining the crowd with a violin and a dancing bear.

Great action shot of the noose!
These next guys are good too. I like the bellville bear (been thinking of how to incorporate one myself, you beat me to it). The faces and hair are jsut fine, but I don't like the violinist's torso, I can't get past the fact that it is from a western set and has bullets in the belt. The red works well though.
Again, thanks for sharing, I continue to enjoy them.

Neat (I'm running out of different things to say each time you post a new character ). When I first saw that bear in the thumbnail, I thought it was playmobil, silly me.

Arrgh! I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't said it. Arrgh!wunztwice wrote:I don't like the violinist's torso, I can't get past the fact that it is from a western set and has bullets in the belt.
I've seen the hairbrush used before, but I don't recall the lever used as a bow.Lamanda2 wrote:My favorite thing in this scene is the violin, very clever...

Learning French.
Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Ya know, cool animals/accessories aside, I think the thing that impresses me most about your characters is your careful choice of torsos and heads. The heads & torsos you've chosen do an excellent job of conveying that minifig's character!
Personally, I've always had trouble picking good head/torso combinations. Most of my minifigs end up being unchanged from the original set they came from...
