A further presentation of Minifigs

Post by jens »

Hi all.

I don't want to be boring, but I was feeling some inspiration while watching the picures of marakoeschtra and JoshWedin.

Here are a few of my last Minifigs:

All of these are great! My favorite is the red wizard.

And I'm jealous of all your uniquely-colored pieces. :P

Ahh...a fellow rare piece collector. :) Nice figs, Jens. I think my favorite is the "Nubier". I also really like the red wizard, mostly because of that red hat. I am jealous, I don't have one and there aren't any on Bricklink.
AFOL and his money are easily parted.

Good color combos,...I assumed the red hat and black beard were painted?

Nope. Jens isn't a customizer, those are just rare parts.

Great work Jens! I gotta find some of those elk torsos and sheilds..

Rare as in never appeared in sets, or sets I'm not aware of?

What's sets?

Cheers.

Rare as in never appeared in sets at all. I want one of those red hats, don't know what for, I just want one. :)

Well then :D , my next question is for Jens, if you hadn't already shared information on how you aquired them, share with us if you will or point me towards the link where you have already.

Cheers.

Hey, I love these figs. My favorite is definately the guy with the red turban. The second is the guy with the pike. I like the use of rare pieces. (Which I assume are some of those 'special color' parts off of bricklink.)

Thanks for sharing

Really sweet! You seem to enjoy having a solid color scheme in figs.

I really like the guy in the red turban.
And the one with the Durmstrange torso...he's good, but the dark tan doesn't fit very well.

I agree with wunztwice, the guy with the red turban is my favorite, he seemed very alive.

My favorites are the Nubier and the Jayko (go figure!), but they're all really great. What set is the wizard's torso from? And the wizard doesn't look red to me, more like dark red.

You've got some nice minifigs there. Is that black Chinese pike the Mongolian is holding from a set, or one of those rare-colored pieces?
