My avatar is a picture of myself carrying the woman I love. It was summer 2005 and it was her 22nd Birthday.

One of her bestfriends took this pic of us. It was at her apartment, about 1/2 an hour before we all left for New York City for the birthday dinner in a fancy Manhattan restaurant.

My current avatar is my family (McGinnis) coat-of-arms. It was made by LEGOFREAK (Thanks!). I don't think there's anything else to write about it.

My avatar would be myself in lego version. To tell the truth, you could replace the head with a "flesh tone" one, but I prefer the classic color tone.

My Avatar is my own Coat of Arms. The gloden rose symbolizes virtue and purity and the cross is the symbol of faith and devotion. The lamb on the helmet (Agnus Dei - the God's Lamb) represents St. John (Ivan) the Baptist (which is my name). The moto says "If God is with us who can be against us?!"

P.S. If anyone desires a coat of arms I'll be glad to help

I decided to change my avatar to that of the large starship from Independence Day. It's the closest thing sizewise to my concept of a Kahilawayan City-Ship, even though the City-Ships are about 5x larger.

Really? Wow, your city ships must be really small. My Eastern Block Command Centers are roughly half the size of the Moon. I wish I had a picture of them I could show off to people. Oh well.

Interestingly, Grim Reaper is called Azrail in Turkish. Strange coincidence huh? ;)

I don't think it was a coincidence. As evidenced by LEGO using Maori names in the first year of Bionicle, people often take names from other languages, and tweak them a bit. Stawastawa, I think your avatar is really cool.

Yeah, I noticed the Maori names after a visit to New Zealand!
I wonder why...and then don't even mention it anywhere, or give credit.

Yes, they did. That's why they changed the spelling of some of the names, though they fit the name changes in to the story well (IMHO).

On Topic: I hope to get a better avatar someday (not that this one isn't great ). I'm working on a viking one right now, and even though the dimensions are 120x100 pixels, the filesize is still 88kb (and that is with the lowest quality JPEG I can get, in Photoshop CS2), and I can't get the background transparent (forgot how). I'll upload it to B-shelf in the meantime, so you guys can see it.
