Hey, I don't know if he (or she) is a member here or not, but this is a pretty cool Castle/village. It's still a WIP I guess, but looks good to me. Just pointin' it out for anyone who hasn't seen it.

He (or she) has some cool modular sections in the above folder too!

That's really cool. I like the bridge and the docks mostly. The village also looks great, but I'd like to see some close up pictures. Thanks for posting!

That was built by William Howard, who is a member here. His CC name is WilliamH. And it is a neat MOC.

I seen this WIP, and so far it's looking great. What really caught my eye are the 4 dark grey pillars...almost looks real...awesome, i'd like to see closer pics of that area for sure.

Yeah, Will's castle is really looking good. It's been a growing construction for a while. He's been adding to it for at least a year.

Very nice, I like how the river separates the town and castle, this was a very effective defence in the middle ages. Normally th attackers would fill the mote with straw, mud, or wood and then push the towers, ladders, or battering rams onto it and then attack the wall. I also like the port.

Some very great (is that good grammer?

) stuff here. I like the roofs in the village (not too sure about the dark red one though), and I love all those vendors' awnings. The castle is very cool too.

How did this one slip by? This is a wonderful scene especially with the people added in. Nicely done with the little cove cut inside the bailey. I love the tri-light window on the face of the keep.

I agree with Dark Tide. This is the first Lego castle that Ive seen that uses a river to seperate the town from the castle. Very clever technique used by the people of the middle ages(and WilliamH in his MOC). I think this MOC is very nicely done and looks very realalist and historically accurate. I dont think that its done yet, so I cant wait to see the finshed product.

This may be off topic but how do you guys find these shows? I have been looking for a place to display mine.

A good question with no single answer.

The best answer is "through our club" - as the show details and calls for exhibitors get posted there. But how the shows get organised in the first place is a different matter.
