Hi all,
I got interested in my coat of arms when I had to find it for a class presentation last year. I found it (not Wunz ), and I wanted to know what all of the stuff stood for. So, after searching a little bit, I came up with this site. I found all the symbols here, and I found out that I am decended from people who where bodyguards. Pretty neat, eh?
Anyway, I just wanted to share with you my find.
In Christ Jesus my Savior,

The information is what I was talking about. It tells you what the colors and symbols and everything stand for. Sorry if that sounder harsh, it wasn't meant to.kelderic wrote:This site is cool, but it costs money. It does give helpful information for free, though. Thanks for sharing it.

That's what I assumed. I was just commenting on the other stuff in the site, which cost money.Remyth wrote:The information is what I was talking about. It tells you what the colors and symbols and everything stand for. Sorry if that sounder harsh, it wasn't meant to.

I've seen a lot of nice information (Wikipedia is always my first stop after google) about heraldry, and this website you've listed is quite nice as well - a lot of good data.
Of course, you actually need go no further than our CC resources to find a really great article as well. This is a nice little article about heraldry too, and how it ties in with some of the LEGO shields we all know.

Glad you like it ~ I always have to remind myself that CC has a lot of great resources and articles, besides their forum.
Anyway, I did bookmark your page as well - as it has a lot of good text and info on one page.
