I've been registered since April or May, and I'm working non-stop on a model for it!

Can't wait to see you there, it's definitely worth coming!

I wish I could go, but with school to go to, and the long distance, I don't think I'll be able to make it.

I'm going. How can I not? It's almost in my backyard.

It's going to be really, really fun this year. :D It's quite worth it.

I'll be there...I've been registered for a long while. But I screwed when I registered, so I am listed as Josh R. in the list of attendees.

Cool, so more than a few castlers are going. So now for my next question: I've been talking with Tom Rafert (Castle coordinator) about putting together a display using my new modular landscaping system (a combination of the new farm standard, CCC, and the old system I proposed last year). Anybody interested in contributing if this were to happen?

I might be, if I have time. By the way my building is going now, I have a moderate surplus of grey bricks. Perhaps half a tub of 2x4 and 2/3 a tub of other grey sizes, and a quarter tub of 1x2's...I might not have time to make a bunch of fancy models, but if you needed some extra walls or corners, I could probably make a few plain ones.

I'd like to know more details. I haven't talked to Tom since last Con...does he use an IM?

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to back out. I'm having enough issues trying to complete my own layout.

Though, I figure we'll have to all meet up somehow. Any suggestions?

I might be. I've been talking to Tom too and I have a battle scene in progress which could comform. I would need to know the requirments though. I know about the CC farm standard but don't remember your proposal.

We could all go to the Lego outlet in Bellevue! :P I'm sure they would appreciate a bunch of castleheads invading the store and performing in depth critiques of KK2 in front of all the kids. Seriously though, I would be up for some kind of meet up. My cousin (a regular lurker) will be with me too...

PS. I'm moving this thread to Displays since we are talking about the Con and doing a collabrative display.

I meant to post a message about the Con earlier  but I've been busy getting ready for PSLTC's 17 day display at the Puyallup Fair.

Nope sorry John I haven't used IM for quite awhile. I never seem to get enough time to sit down for that long.:?

I can post here from work and that's probably the best time for me to do so. I've been getting contacted through the NWBrickCon Theme Coordinator page and that or my home email are best to get a hold of me right now.

I hope we can do a large community Castle layout. Castle has been slowly growing at NWBrickCon and this year is looking to be even bigger. I've got to check on our area again but I'm pretty sure we've got 5' deep by 24' long so we've got the room.

One thing I'd really like opinions on is when is a MOC displayed too much? Specifically referring to my Castle layout. I've had in around and growing for the last 4-5 years but nothing has changed for about a year now, should it be displayed again?

I'm never quite sure about these things but should we start a new thread that is specifically for NWBrickCon 2006 Castle Area Planning?

Come on, Nathan, where are your priorities? You need to ask yourself, in fifty years will your midterms really matter? :)
