A LEGO Castle Roleplay

Post by Sir Kohran »

Would anyone be interested in a roleplay simply about Lego Castle? (seeing as the new one is completely made-up lands and factions) It would be like the CCRP in the very beginning.

The factions that the characters belong to could be traditional Castle themes:

-Black Falcons
-Black Knights
-Bulls
-Classics
-Crusaders
-Dark Forest
-Dragon Masters
-Forestmen
-Fright Knights
-Knights' Kingdom I
-Knights' Kingdom II
-Ninja
-Rogue Knights
-Royal Knights
-Shadow Knights
-Vikings
-Wolfpack

Anyone interested?

I like the idea of keeping the same old factions but creating a few extra ideas and things. For instance certain guilds, etc.

It does sound interesting, but would we have the freedom to change things, for instance have King Leo flee a rebellion and become leader of the Black Falcons?

Well, this sounds cool, but I personally am better with complete freedom, rather than using other things. I like the idea, mind you, and I might join, but I will probably post in the other one more...

My 2 cents,

I was thinking about it and I was wondering if it be possible to add gunpowder or at least the first few attempts at it.

We could have some primitve arquebuses, and some inventers working on making it better, but lets not have rifles, or anything beyond flintlock. uring the 30 years war in the 16th century, they had primitive guns. How about that tech level?

When I wrote it I was thinking sappers (or suiside(sp?)) and very crude cannons.

I just sort of like gunpowder,

Notice how the Bulls seem to use a 'cannon' in this set on the KK1 castle. I'm sure we could slip some gunpowder in for them and maybe a few other factions.

Sounds like an interesting idea, but I am going for the new role-play, as I have been waiting quite a while to join it.

Good luck. :)

Although this decision can be overruled by Nathan, or I may possibly allow a referendum on the matter at some later date, for now:

Gunpowder will not be permitted in the Roleplay.

If you really need/want explosions... this is a fantasy world, and I'm sure you can all make yourselves some kick-butt wizards.

I can't think of a situation where Mike and I have thought differently in relation to the roleplay. His word is as much as law as mine. Same goes for Micah.

Is this going to be different from the new ropepley developing without factions?

Edit:

Ok, then how about this. We have a wizard, who has pioneered a new wand. It is cheap and massproduced, and it is called the fire stick. It shoots flames and pieces of solidifed magic, and is high deadly.

Edit 2

Upon further thought, maybe it would be better to stay away from guns.

Better stick with your second thought.

The intention of banning gunpowder is just as you begin to surmise: to ban guns of all kinds. Magical mass-produced ones will not be permitted.

Really, think about the SPIRIT of the law... as well as how to get around the letter.
