BruceCustom stickers may be used for minifigure torsos, shields, and flags. You may use custom weapons only in the Custom Castle Figure and Miscellaneous categories. Brick built, custom, and LEGO animals can be used.
So those things count as "custom weapons"?Bruce N H wrote:From the bottom of the 'categories and prizes' page:BruceCustom stickers may be used for minifigure torsos, shields, and flags. Yes. Anything that is not a LEGO product counts as a custom.Hound Knight wrote:So those things count as "custom weapons"?
Sure. Here, for instance, are two winning entries from various categories in previous years - one just a ship, the other set in a scene:Hound Knight wrote:Also, if I build a ship for the Medieval Mariner category, does it have to be on a base of some sort?
Not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean something like this? That's not on a radar dish, but an x-pod case, but I could imagine similarly using a large radar dish as a base. If so, sure, as long as you are within the size limit for a givin category.Hound Knight wrote:And are scenes built on something like a "radar dish" acceptable?

I haven't gotten out a ruler, but I'm guessing that's well within the 32x64 size limit. If it isn't, though, it could easily be moved into the misc category.Hound Knight wrote:Yay, I can enter my Viking longship!

Thanks for answering all my questions.

Hm. Yes... Does it?lolas wrote:"Medieval Mariner
Build a scene featuring life with the sea. Ideas include ships, seaports, lighthouses, etc."
Does it include lake or lakeside life?
No. It should be life on a sea or ocean.lolas wrote:"Medieval Mariner

No. The technological advances must be real inventions made by people in medieval times.mystuffiscool wrote:I would also like to ask if the Technological Advance category would allow us to enter fictional advances, as in things that were actually invented, but not used for the purpose I would utilize it for?
Entries are usually updated within a week if there are not errors (too many images, broken links, images that are too large, etc). Your brickshelf folder is not public yet so I can not determine if it should go in the Brick Castle category.Jevil wrote:I only have 2 questions:
1: How often is the entries list updated,
and
2: Would the 'Pocket Castle' be considered a Brick castle?
A bit redundant; and I thought I had more to ask. Guess not.
Update completed!architect wrote:
