Maybe you could add small images of the protected sigils to the opening post. And one or two examples of figs from those series that can be used in general. I put them for my own use in a spreadsheet, and I've noticed me looking at these pics more often than once. I can imagine other novices not knowing by heart how a crusader sigil e.g. looks like.

Can your character switch his alliance during the game?

Uh oh, we woke up Daniel's creativity me thinks! :eyebrows: I asked the same thing, sort of. I think you can, but there should be a point penalty so that it does not become a frequent occurance.

Hmm... I really don't know. I do see your point, lords and barons often switched sides during a war. But I think it would be very difficult to switch sides because scores and titles would have to be shifted. and if somebody did it often (Like Teherean :tasty: ) it could be very confusing and hard to keep up with.

*edit*

That would be more feasible, perhaps something like: You can switch sides at the loss of a third of your rank/score.

Does each of our characters have to have some kind of stronghold or fort or manor house ?

Only if it makes sense for the character that you have selected. If you select to play a peasant then then you might only have shack of some kind, if you were a merchant, you might have a store front, etc.

That sounds reasonable. Also, I think you should need a viable reason to do so. For example, if you plan to switch from Loreos to Lenfald, build up to the separation by showing your character disagreeing with Loreesi law, falling in love with a Lenfel, killing a Loreesi official in a fit of rage e.t.c.

Agreed, a peasant won't need a whole castle, and a traveling tinker may not even have a certain home.

switching should be allowed but I don't like it. We have to come up with some rules and pentalty(like mentiond already ) for those who wants to switch for some reason. Ofcourse if there is a really good reason the penalty is less maybe.

A points reduction sounds good... maybe 1/2 to make it quite drastic, and you have under 10 points or over 100 - that way people that are just getting into the challenge in the "middling" years don't willy nilly skip sides. Also, when they do transfer, hopefully they will be back under the 100 minimum so it takes time to switch again.

From the arid desert in the west to the grassland in the east, Loreos dominates most of central Roawia. The proud and traditional Loreesi are unrivaled in their ability to harness the power of horses, a tradition passed on and honed to perfection through generations.

Due to the harsh conditions and flat land, castles in Loreos are mostly larger constructions of sandstone and mortar. Creations in this faction should be inspired by real world old Middle East and Southern Europe.

- Demonym: Loreesi (plural: Loreesi).
- Colors (primary/secondary): Red/gold.
- Terrain: Grasslands/desert.
- Building style/materials: Large castles, sandstone.
- Natural resources: Fertile land (some areas).
- Economy: Livestock, horses, agriculture.
- Army: Heavy cavalry.
- Navy: Medium sized ships.
- LEGO sigils: Crusaders, Kingdoms Lions.
So I ave been thinking about that from when I first saw that, witch brick is Sandstone is it Tan?
I have been building my introduction moc, and I am useing a mix of bley and 30 year old grey :) Because those are the bricks I ave the most of. And its a good mix, some of the old grey bricks look more like tan now when they are so old :)

One interpretation of sandstone would be to mix the dark tan and dark flesh like in the Prince of Persia sets, but the wikipedia definition says that "...sandstone may be any colour, but the most common colours are tan, brown, yellow, red, gray, pink, white and black." With that much possible color variation I would think that you have a lot of range.

when we said sand stone we meant tan, but you may build in what ever color you wish :)

Yep, Tan was the color indicated, but as said above, sandstone does come in many colors. So you may build as you like. And bley and old gray, are fine too! :)
