People are of course free to do as they wish, but I do not understand MISB collectors. Maybe a set or two, the odd one perhaps, but an attic full? I for one could not resist opening them and goin' to town.

Of course many people don't understand how adults could throw away time on playing with some little kids toy, how wasteful! I spent the weekend at BrickFest doing TV interviews (to promote the public day)where I had to explain that again and again! So I cut this collector slack. It is comforting to think that somewhere each set is archived away, outside of LEGO's own storehouse. A very impressive collector at that.

Which isn't always a good thing. Quantity does not always equal quality.

BTW, Jojo, I love the new avatar! Someday you have to put up a Brickshelf gallery with all of your avatars.

Hello!

Thanks…
Unfortunatelly I don't have all of these pics anymore. I could easily recreate them, but I don't know all the ranks anymore, either. :-)

And, seriously, I wouldn't want to let my avatars be used by others, which would likely be the consequence. Every once in a while some of my pictures are used by others anyway, without my permission of course. Recently some kid linked the pic in his signature directly from my webspace - to his misfortune: Because when I learned that I changed the file to something not too flattering. :-)

And some trolls just think it's cool to upload pictures they found in other users' BrickShelf galleries to their own gallery. And BrickShelf is only the one place where I even notice things like that. Who knows who else might be using my pics and the pics of others elsewhere. I even found pictures of my buildings in the Cool Creations section on lego.com - great. Sure, it's a form of compliment, but none that I'm eager to get.

Sorry for rambling on offtopically. This probably rather belongs in the Publishing forum.
