The multiple colours in the hut look great, I just saw that in real life (remember that? That really boring thing?), and then came and saw this... It seriously looked just the same, had all of those colours. Anyway, this whole thing is fantastic, the only thing I suggest changing is adding furrows, and giving me those ponies. Awesome job, I like the way the pony's stable/corral thing isn't square on the baseplate, looks nice. Awesome job.
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Spongey wrote:This is another great MOC. I have a real appreciation for rural MOCs- not only does yours capture the country in a nutshell, but the technique for the hut is quite impressive, and furthers your reputation as a LEGO master. The fields are simple but effective, and the corral is magnificent. By the way, in which sets do those ponies come?
Hey thanks! I live in the country (actually technically 'frontier territory' the pop/area is so small...) so it was a natural choice to go rural.

Hmm, LEGO master, eh? WOW! I've never been called that before, thank you for the encouragement. It means alot!

This was actually a lot of fun to set it up at BF, and this is a brilliant piece of work. It's amazingly sturdy, and the colors work really well for me in person. Though, it's missing something: where's the Leia head? ;)
You are very welcome! I had a blast at BF, even just trying to fit everything together/in the display!
Hehe, yeah, well I figured I'd pick the leia head before the photos, jsut so I didn't weird people out...

Thanks! I'm more used to leaving folks speachelss the other way... the way where they think it's so horrible. jk

Yup, thanks again folks. Like I said earlier, I hope to work this as a more landscaped/detailed MOC sometime, but till then...

Very impressive, and creative. I love the farm, and now I have a good farm model for my brickworld MOC. Maybe you could make a couple more animals, and stuff.
