Re: why the wolfpack is so weak...supposedly
The Wolfpack was welcomed by The Bulls long ago in my world. The two factions that where given the least of all by TLG, have fought long and hard to establish their place. The Wolves are the rangers and scouts of the faction, and are considered equal to a Bull in all but name. So the Wolves, to be wiped out on their own, joined with the Bulls to ensure the survival of the two Clans.
So the Wolves, cast as the Villains and Bandits by most, are a respected and honorable clan indeed.

In history in the kingdom that I created the Wolfpack are by no means week.
An excerpt from one the Wizard Councils historical scrolls, Scroll of History Vol 4
"Once they were a merchant’s guild that was very successful. They controlled nearly all the trade across the 5 Kingdoms.
At some point (the exact date is unknown) the Guild was forced to create a wing that was given the charge to protect the caravans, because of an increased bandit threat. The success of the armed guards grew and they offered their services to those traveling from kingdom to kingdom. This was a very sought after service because most kings would not allow large delegates of armed troops to escort noble from kingdom to kingdom. Because the Wolfpack was the Merchant Guild they were able to travel from one kingdom to another.
Over time the prestige of the protection wing grew in power within the guild because their income rivaled that of the merchants plus they were still needed to protect the Guild. There arose a power struggle and the winner was the Protection wing.
Today there are very little goods moved by the Wolfpack. They are largely a for hire army that is somewhat loyal to the High King. Their hidden base is thought to be along the Kings River in the high country but the only living people that have seen it are in the Wolfpack or are among the oldest on the Wizards Council."
This is an older scroll and it is unknown if the Wizards referenced are those still on the council

Who know's whether that was true or not, but I think it could have been but we'll never know.

The Wolfpack aren't weak. They are a bit under-nourished but that gives them an edge.
One of my favorite factions. I think they were cancelled too soon. Definitely not enough sets.

Hm. I thought Wolfpack were born enemies of the Forestmen...Sir-Boris wrote:I never really used [Wolfpack] as rouges, but rather more as Rangers that aided the Forestmen (which I used for Elves)

Re:
Thanks to the Grimm for the Harry Potter, my Wolfpack troops have their own attack wolves now. As for the faction I'd always seen them as bandits, eye patches in the Lego series always seem to indicate piracy . As for my lego-verse they run the Mercenaries Guild, although they are behind most suspicious activity in town and tend to operate very much like a gang. No cart-by archery yet though...Shadowviking wrote:Donut wrote:I guess you could also say that the wolfpack is weak because they dont have any wolves to help them.
Heh, too true.

I only have a select few, and I use them to either assist or attack the forestmen... Likewise to the wolfpack, I have seldom few forestmen, unfortunately.
I am an alien, here to eat you all, regurgitate you, gingerly poke your remains, and then devour them. FUN, RIGHT?!

Wow...wow...That's well written buddy! I though, think of them as bandits ready to be crushed by the Black Falcon horde! (evil laughter)Merlin of Lego wrote:In history in the kingdom that I created the Wolfpack are by no means week.

I have always seen them as (organized) bandits with a big camp way back in the woods. Sort of like a mideavil mofia.

well put sir zepplin I too see them as a mafia. working against the law, providing illegal substances to the peasents for a profit and then being wiped out by the all powerful black falcons! I also consider them to be theives that are less noble than the forestmen. I like the idea of them as pathfinders and scouts for the bulls though.
