...when your collection is bigger than all your kid's toys combined.

...people go in your Lego room and stare in shock at the piles of Plano and Sterilite bins.

...when you refer to plastic sorting bins by brand name.

...when your mother-in-law buys you more Lego than she does for the grandkids.

...when you invite fellow AFOLs over to your house for non-lego events and people refer to them as your "Lego friends". (Dunechaser knows about that one)

Great thread!

...when you pack up your collection for storage and realize that somehow, and you don't know how, you suddenly realize you have FAR MORE THAN YOU THOUGHT and said collection won't fit in alotted storage space...

...you justify spending and travel by adding the fact that there's a LEGO store or convention conveniently close to your destination....

...while you don't go often, you're still recoginzed by face and name by employees of the local store...

...when you've got great, convention-type stories to tell about aformentioned employees, and other people whom you've met through a LEGO forum which really shouldn't be mentioned at said forum...:D

Heh, I'm only a TFOL, but I did that when I was moving a few years ago. I had to stuff the last of it in a random Pringles can and paper box that both happened to be laying around. :P

To add to the list,

... You keep a few X-pods in your glove box for trips. (I plan on doing that when I get a car)

... You keep some pieces in your bathroom for, uh, building on the pot.
I only keep them in there because I need to get around to cleaning them, but sometimes I grab a handfull for those long sittings.

... You keep a collection of LEGO boxes and show them to anyone who comes to your house, and you expect them to be impressed, even though all they see is a bunch of cardboard boxes.

... You cannot grasp the reason why people are disgusted when they overhear you talking about "building things with SNOT."
You think it's a pretty neat technique.

...When you offer your friends a drink, you make sure to include a couple of ice cubes from your lego ice tray.

...You actually own a lego ice tray!

...You have a lego tattoo.

...It is stated in your will that you wish for your ashes to be spread across legoland.

...You believe the Big Bang theory must be wrong. The universe could have only been built, one brick at a time!

...You routinely visit http://www.thebricktestament.com for spiritual enlightenment.

...You actually bought this.

...whenever you see interesting architecture or cool houses, you immediately start thinking of which bricks to build it with.

...you know what a BURP is, and routinely call it that with a straight face.

...you've been to LEGOLand but you don't have any kids or younger siblings.
