I like this scene very much, and like to look at it again and again from time to time. My favourite details are the windows, the well, the cart's tracks (this must have been the first snow this winter , and the roof over the balcony.
The building (mostly due to the walls and the windows, I think), and the whole scene has a nice, exotic, South-European, warm fairy-like feel (quite a number of adjectives), in spite of the presence of the snow, and the strong, S-W (am I right?) wind.
It seems that the man pulled his cart, it's way easier to push something, especially when its slippery

The snow looks good. I think I'm gonna get a bag of these white slopes too.
Does it snow a lot in Portugal?

Very cool ...er... cold No seriously, fantastic landscaping & that is one awesome SNOT wall technique, the three (?) shades of grey add so much to the texture. Well done

The third shade of grey is very-light grey if I'm not mistaken. The only piece that is really available in large quantities is a 1x1 plate (as seen in this incredible MOC). They are from the mosaics LEGO produced a few years back. That being said, having a few thousand of those plates is never a bad thing for anyone's collection.




As for the MOC itself. It is fantastic. I love the richness of the whole scene. The variety of textures and shapes in this work just blow my mind! Very nice.

It's warm inside, like my friend el_gordo felt.

And it's a very good way to warm up too and it isn't that loaded.

The animals must be spared, they will be needed for plantation and harvest seasons and we can't forget that when the animals are inside the house is also warmer.

The snow looks good. I think I'm gonna get a bag of these white slopes too.

It does snow in Portugal, you have a lot of it on the high lands on the interior of the country. I just had snow for one time on my litlle village near the sea.

True again, but eventually they will be all in use (from our collection), I normally keep the MOCs finished for long periods.
