That's great. I built something like this last november (though it didn't make it into the contest and I'm afraid I've been a little busy to photograph it). Mine is more compact, but uses a similar premise of teeth as part of a plate armor look. The legs on mine were just round 1x1 plates, but I did hook arms just like that... for the waist I used a 1x2 jumper/mid stud plate.

What you can also do is attach a 1x1 plate clip on the back and attach a sword or knife. Press it on at a diagonal for a natural look.

I think that looks pretty clever. Perhaps I will make a small unit of them if I can find enough pieces.

Thanks boses
It is a very cool and cute design!
When I saw it, it captured my eyes!
I built it again on my own version, not cute as yours
but stronger (I think)

[This is really good :) As soon as I saw it I dived into my lego to see if I had enough bricks to make it :D I noticed that you kind of have to keep the key in so I took the technic pin out, rotated the t-bar and Attached a clip on the back and know it's just a mech-knight :) Thanks for giving me the idea!

Well done.

Exactly what I thought at first. I can see a row of these in a mansion moc.

Is that the suit of armor from DragonQuest 8 on the playstation 2?

Why have I got a picture in my mind of a geeky squire challenging his Knight to a Jousting match, then going away and building a clockwork Knight to do the job for him?

Great MOCs (both styles).

Very Nice "Clanker"!

I like it. It reminded me of the "toasters of the new Battlestar Galactica"...

Nicely Done!
