Awesome MOC, Rocko. I love the sandscaping and the battlements, especially. My gosh, you even make the silly skull piece look good!

That goofy skull was sitting around begging to be used. It works in a funny way.

Oh, I forgot to ask. How do you make those curved things above the dorways. Thanks :D.

Once again Rebel you have pulled out another outstanding Moc. Your style is easy to recognize and you always throw something interesting into your creations. Love the C3PO and the R2D2. Great work.

While the castle does not seem to fit well into the desert terrain, I have to say that this is my favorite LEGO Castle MOC in quite sometime. :!: The build is simple, and yet so detailed. Even the smooth slopes work here (as in sanded by the winds.)

There is no need for more inner-detailing, the work stands alone as it is.
Bravo, Rock, Bravo!! 8)

I'm gonna start crying. There are som many details that are just fantastic, I don't know where to begin. The walls apre splendid, and the roundis pointiness of the architecture is splendid. The walls and towers are fantastic. I really like the flags. And the animal skeleton, wow!!
Funny that r2d2 and C3po shows up.
The grilling of the pig is a nice feature.

The whole set is very balanced.
10/10

Superb.

The castle's great, but the minifig faction is TERRIFIC!!! Bronze age guys in the desert! If I ever build something ancient Egyptian, I'll know where to copy from

I saw it on Bshelf and came here to find the builder. This is one of the bestest castle MOCs I have seen. I loved it every way. Well done!!!

Wow thats great! I actually like the contrast of the gray and the sand. Perhaps white or some other color would be a nice choice? As always nice to see your work. A masterpiece!

Wow dude, you've done it again... Well, nice job! I love the desert feel of this and that design of the castle is cool, but I do think it would look much better if done with a tan color scheme.

I don't think so. The grey really makes it stand out. It looks awesome the way it is.

Gorgeous-ness. Although I agree with our 13 year old Nelson that the castle looks a little out of place in a desert setting there were in fact many European castles built throughout the "Near East" by crusaders in medieval times. Besides that my favourite aspect of this creation are (not surprisingly) the minifig details, done with a fantastic blending of elements from a variety of themes. Very nice. I really love the the dynamic duo cresting the dune at the rear of the MOC too - nice touch ;) Even if incredibly out of place, the humour is justification enough for them to be there lol

Ok, wow, where to start.

Well, first off, the castle as a whole immediately impressed me. The whole thing just... flows superbly. As Chris said, the dark gray compliments the tan sand very nicely. I've been wanting to do a MOC with lots of sand for quite a while now, but I have never been able to amass enough tan...yet...

The first thing that caught my eye was the road. I love the Persian rug feeling that it gives.

The figures are great as always. However, I must complain about the lack of the 'Leias'. Nah, the figs are great. From what I can tell, the droids scared the huge ant-things, and they, in turn, scared the lady. I didn't reply to your thread about them, but the Calrissians are awesome. The guy on the Kadu is sweet. I love his staff.

There are tons of awesome details in here. The pig being roasted. The girl (I presume) bathing. The Kadu guy, and rug-door, and the elephant are all superb.

Keep on rockin', Rocko!

In Christ,
