Excellent MOC, the diagonal placing of the house and the dock really stands out and adds enormous dimentions and depth to this creation. My very personal complaint is the use of Darth Maul's head for the Death minifig. I've always believed Death to be a faceless entity and that giving it a countenance makes it a corporeal being.

I'm having second thoughts about building something for this deal after seeing this. (great work btw)

Wow, what a way to start off the entries. Really nice work mate, you have certainly set a high standard. The overall look s great with the dock and house being set of centre, and all the details in the landscaping and in the structures make for a really neat MOC. Beautifully done, I'll have to see what I can come up with now.

Nonsense!
Participation is every bit as important as winning. Honestly, the competition will be fierce but that's no reason to bow out. Putting your best leg forward is what really counts. I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got to offer.

Hey, do you know what the piece count for this was? Or how much you had to spend to build this? Unless of course you had all the pieces already. I'm always interested in how much money had to be put into a MOC.... Hehe..
Did you use headlight bricks to make those tiles on their sides? I noticed that, but I'm not sure if it was headlight bricks, or something else..

I have to agree wholeheartedly with a couple of people above. The point of the CCC is not to create a mechanism to distribute some nice prizes to ten people, the point is to inspire great building in the whole community. You've certainly demonstrated amazing skills yourself, btw, with things like Darkwater Keep, Eggplant Island, etc.

I really have no idea what the piece count for this moc is, sorry. Also i have no idea how much its worth. I indeed build this moc with lego i already had.

I thought about counting the pieces when i destroyed the moc today, but it would only give a false figure. You see when i build the blue snot water i had to use
all my blue pieces. That included normal bricks like 2x4,2x2,1x2,1x3,1x4,1x6 etc etc. But also
all my blue plates pieces

, as you can see in this pic:
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/MrTS/ ... ails/9.jpg
(no i dont have much blue, haha, i want to buy more blue in the future! Like 32049783490 other lego things i need/want to buy
)
These plates would really boost the number of pieces i used and would give a wrong impression at the end when you look at piece count vs moc size...

Hehe, I don't have much blue either. It's nice to know even really good MOCcers still don't have unlimited amounts of pieces. It makes me feel better too. And since I don't have a gizillion pieces, if I work hard enough, maybe I can make MOCs like the one you just posted.
Anyway, thanks for the response!

An excellent MOC! And way to place the bar high!

It just means I need to work that much harder to umm...win...

*cough cough*
I tend to agree with Nannan about Death's head. But other than that, this is awesome!
God bless.

Definitely an excellent MOC. The CCCVI has started off on a definite high note, and if half of the entries are half as good as this one it will be one of the most successful ever in my opinion. Great job!

Wow. Truely impressive, yet I don't think the reaper should just kill one of them. He should torment them all slowly and painfully one by one while forcing the others to watch as he rips apart at the current victim

Wonderful work. Everything goes together quite well. I like how you did the water well and put the buildings at a slight angle, it adds character.
