I, Mathieu Klomp, love and hate KKII.
1. 19
2. Purist
3. Accurate Mocs, fantasy fill ins on the things that aren't known (like the colouring of some monuments for example)
I don't think the theory is completely accurate, i think the guys (yeah yeah, and girls
) that aren't into fantasy moccing won't completely hate KKII, but combine the best of both worlds to get the most accurate result.

Whatever you do, don't.
I, Adam, kinda like KK2
1. 15
2. Purist for the most part. I use Jeff's weapons, and have cut some peices to make customs.
3. Depends on what mood Im in. For the most part I build regular little forts.

Re: Theory
Got it in 1 DM. I am THE army builder.Dragon Master wrote:I have a theory on KKII and why some people like it, and others hate it.
The other group I find that is attracted to KKII are large scale army builders and storyline makers, who need different lines to add variery to their collections.
I know I'm generalizing but bear with me please.

Re: Theory
I dislike KKII. Quite a lot actually. I think it`s real dumbing-down stuff.
1. 45.
2. I fall into this sub-catagory of purist..."And older fans and moderate to major set colectors who know and like the quality of the older sets."
3. Accurate MOCs...probably...when I have the time. Plenty of ideas and bricks, but just no time...
I like the older sets...I think the design teams that they had at Lego in the late 80`s /early 90`s were inspired. What happened to them all? It was the nadir of castle and pirate design, I feel. (And other themes.) I`m fortunate in that I have enough disposable cash to basically go and buy what I want in vintage pieces and sets, within reason, so I`ll probably not ever buy KKII.

I think the questionnaire is slightly flawed.
However...
I Benjamin Medinets likes (not loves) (1) Knights Kingdom 2.
1. age: 29 (2)
2. Purist/Collector/Occasional Builder
3. Fantasy (3)
notes:
1 - I'll put up with them and will collect them since they are
castle, and there are some great stuff in most of the sets.
I think they are better than a lot of the other retail sets
this year (I think Harry Potter: POA, Spiderman 2, and
NHL are better).
2 - my birthday is December 22
3 - I have built stuff in the not-so-distant past, but
haven't in a while.

Re: Theory
I am indifferent to KKII.
1. Age: Adult.
2. Purist Customizer (fie to the spin of insinuating gutless girlie-knights who are too afraid to hack something are "purists") *
3. Accurate Mocs or Fantasy Mocs: Yes.
* Joke! Joke, joke, joke....
Well, as you can see, I'm not a great believer in the artificial boundries of questionaires.
