That's what I thought, but if you do the math thats what happens. Or maybe they are just selling them for REALLY cheap in Denmark.medib wrote:I don't think they'll be $20 CDN and $15 US, more
like $30 US and $45 CDN.
Woohoo! New better sets released!

If the combined set is Euro 31, then at current rates (1.62) that would be roughly C$50. Assuming that the combined set is priced lower than each individually, I hazard a guess that they will market for about C$30 each. I would put all my money (if I had any) into buying multiples of just the Talonjay castle set.medib wrote:I don't think they'll be $20 CDN and $15 US, more

I can hardly wait, time to save up all my money to go crazy spending when they go on clearance. I really like the Green Knight, and I am glad to be able to get one (with breastplate) in a smaller set.kajo163 wrote:Sweet!:D

Is the "talonjay castle (insult disgusted smiley, expression similar to me first hearing "Doc Ock...")", modular perchance? :

Well, you know my stance on this theme. I will not go into futher detail. I'm afraid the one other thing holding me back from these and all other sets (besides the horrible design) is the color changes. Unless I see a truly exceptional set (such as that possible house that we saw in that pamplet awhile ago), I will refrain from getting these. I just believe that my money that has been budgeted for Lego could be better spent elsewhere

If the combo pack is available to S@H in North America at a reasonable price, I will likely buy several. If the deal isn't there and the sets are only sold individually for a higher price, I might buy Castle Talonjay just to get a green knight with armor and then let the rest of the KKII line rot. Vladek encounter will be the exception to the rotting.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

The German S@H store lists them each separately for 20 Euros each, and the combo pack is 30 Euros.
Typically, the US Dollar prices are equal to or slightly less than the Euro prices, so they will probably be $20 each. Hopefully the combo pack will be available on S@H for us as well.
The siege tower needs more minifigs. Once again, they seem unwilling to give out more than one shadow knight in a set.
Also, it appears that the providential castles for the knights will not have regular soldiers bearing their lord's coat of arms. *sigh*
Oh well, the castle wall section looks like it could be modular. That might be promising if it weren't for the fact that it would make a very ugly modular wall.
The combo pack looks great for the parts anyway.

I'm really surprise TLC decide to release the 2 new KK2 set now. They were planned to be release in october if I remember well.
Finally they are release all at the same time. At 30 Euro for the Vladek attack kit, I think the price will be reasonnable here in Canada. My guess is 35,99$. If the price look like this. I think I'll buy one. They are the best done of the serie.
