If you look at the very top on Brickshelf, you'll see the following message:

"We have had some database problems. If your account, files or folders are missing please email support@brickshelf.com with details"
Redwine the Ribald: Stare long enough into the abyss...
Two-Tonic Tippler: ...and you spit into it.

A whole folder and subfolder went missing from my page. One quick email with all the specifics and it was back. If you are missing anything, email. I don't think you can just sit back and wait for it to be found.

I was missing a folder that I recently uploaded and I emailed them about it but it still is not up.

My whole cathedral file when MIA. Fortunately I was able to upload all the photos again pretty quickly. Had I seen this post about e-mailing for missing files I would done that instead.

I found something interesting with my missing folders. If I created a new folder with exactly the same name, and re-uploaded one of the images I had previously added, suddenly the whole folder reappeared. It's like it was all there, but I just had to re-set some variable so that it was all visible. Anyway, that was nice. It saved a lot of time.

Wow, I just reallized that after restoring all of those folders at once I totally stomped all over the "recent" page on Brickshelf--18 of the 23 folders visible on page one are mine. I feel kind of bad about that as only one of those actually has any new content.

I noticed that too. I just decided to re-upload one of my CC-Contest entries and then the rest of it appeared once I put up the first picture.

Well, I just spent 30+ minutes checking my BrickShelf Gallery and everything seems to be fine. Now I'll just try to upload some new vignette pics and see what happens...
