I voted blue, but I have to admit that I'm somewhat torn. I think that the blue looks better, but I have a particular fondness for yellow because my only remaining Falcon shield (until the Legends came out, that is) was a yellow bordered one. So, I like the blue for aesthetic reasons and the yellow for the sake of nostagia.

According to my storyline, the Black Falcons started and lost a bloody rebellion against the Emperor 200 years ago, and their descendents are even now second-class citizens (I don't hate the Black Falcons, it's just my interpretation of the LEGO sets and catalog scenes, with a little creative liberties here and there). The only way they can gain citizenship is by serving in the army, and the soldiers with blue shields have attained that priviledge. I managed to incorporate every faction into my storyline, and someday when I have a lot of time on my hands, I'll post it in the Stories section.

Blue. They're the only ones I have, although I don't think the yellow looks bad.

I loathe the use of the green and white flags as well as the red front on the Knight's Castle. Diversity for the sake of diversity doesn't always look good.

I voted yellow because I like more yellow than blue.

"What is your favourite colour?", "blue! no! aaaaarrrgghhh"

I do think blue on the torsos is better than yellow!
But speaking about shields it doesn't matter much to me.

Now that's occupational commitment... :D

Personally, I've always preferred yellow, as it stands out compared to the dark colours of the Black Falcons. (blue and black)

I voted Blue. However, I use both the yellow and blue shields. I tried an army of all blue and somehow it didn't look right. :? Just a little too blue.
Let them come...

I voted blue, because I prefer this color. But I would have prefered a red-bordered shield rather than blue, like the red belt!
Seriously, though, the yellow border adds a touch of contrast to an all black-and blue figure.
Yes, and many Middle-Age people were very colorfully clothed: so, I think that yellow border matches better the blue BF line!!
