If anyone has the Fortress, I'd love to see some better pictures of it, or anyone know a site that has a review? Or pics? I'm slightly hesitant about chucking in 70$, since I spent 50$ of the two HP sets and about 20$ on some bricklink stuff. So I'm using up my LEGO funds quick hehe. Although it is a very tempting offer and you can't beat that price for something so huge.

I ordered the Fortress and the Nidhogg dragon. I can take some photos when I have them built, but I know Bloody Jay has some already.

Actually, that would be christopher110 (he beat me to it!), also of Eurobricks. You can find the galleries here. Hope that helps! :D

Excellent!

$70 is an awesome price for the fortress – and for once, I think that the prices for each set actually suit them by worth. :D

This made my day...finally a confirmation of the USD prices...

I'm still holding out for the ship... I'll call the TRU up the street later to find out if they have them at the brick & morter store as well.

Thanks for the info Blueandwhite. I've only been living up here (Alberta) for about 6 or 7 months now, and my only LEGO purchases in that time have been from Bricklink. I was not aware that LEGO prices jumped when they crossed the border. How lame.

I caved in, and bought the fortress. That and the ship are the only viking I wanted anyway. Time to start saving for the ship, which will hopefully be only 50-60$, as the fortress was 70$.

I love these new LEGO prices!

Yep, if I were ever to buy any Viking set, I’d buy the fortress. Just look at all those brown bricks it has!!! A treasure trove of brick fodder!

The sets are now all available on Amazon!

The prices seem excellent. Only $50 for the ship and $70 for the fortress. This is great for the fortress with over 1000 pieces and good for the ship with over 500 pieces.

I'm still waiting for the Viking set I ordered from Bricklink. The seller isn't responding to my e-mails and hasn't even changed the status of my order from 'Pending' -- even though I already recieved an invoice and paid.

Getting slightly annoyed.

Hope everyone else is enjoying THEIR Vikings.

If the seller is Simply Lego, they're temporarily closing their store.

They don't have the long boat yet, so I may wait to order. But they're here, and the price on the fortress is much better then I thought it would be. :)
The set that is on sale is actually the small longboat set.

I know, that's why I said they don't. When I said 'they're here', I meant they as in the Vikings in general. And now that the big long boat is here, I think I'll order...

Thanks for the head's up Jay, but no, it's Beck's Little Lego Shop that I ordered from.
