Congratulations! And nice idea to make a vig of it, makes the announcement even more fun. (And no, with this I do not mean that Josh or Tony should have made childbirth vigs for their latest announcements  )

Congratulations, Steve! That's quite a rock you gave her, there. I'm sure all of the other minifigs will be envious.

BTW, it took you a month to tell us? Blogged, of course.

Congratulations, Steve! One can only hope the the real rock you gave her is somewhere as big as the one in your MOC. :D

Thanks all!
Wow... that's quite a rock! Is it built to scale?

That is a pretty good-sized rock you gave her! What is it, twenty carats or so?
Holy smokes - look at the size of that rock!
I'll bet she's happy with a daimond that size...
I'd bet she would be too... though sadly the diamond in the vignette isn't even actual size... :D
Can we expect to see a Wedding vig in the not so distant future as well?
Most likely. I'm thinking of starting [yet another] series of vignettes depicting important moments in life, at least as I get to them... I'll probably have to go backwards in time to do some I've missed...
BTW, it took you a month to tell us?
Well it was Christmas, which took two weeks... Then another week to order the diamond off bricklink... :D

Steve, who now has to convince her a lego cake topper is a good idea...

I'm glad you got engaged!

Though I do wish there was a ring piece so you don't have to spend all those Lego Dollars on the diamond.

If your fiance doesn't like legos, what does she think of this?

lol, I used the same emoticon twice in a row...

Very cool, a super hearty congrats! I hope she's fine with such a huge rock. It seems like it might get in the way, but whatever...

Hmm, that's funny, my girlfriend's name is Erin (first G/F), so that's neat...

Congratulations! Now maybe you can help me find a girl who'll put up with LEGOmania. Any tips?
