I do not really have a particularly desired theme because I mix and match my armies, however, there is a certain nostalgia which weighs heavily anytime I view a picture of either the Black Falcons, or the Black Knights.

My favorite castle faction is the Knight's Kingdom original under King Leo. Not for parts or structures particularly, but for the minifigures and character designs. Good stuff for army building with plenty of pre-heavy plate armor.

I used to like the Dragon Master/Black Knights the best (didn't know there was a difference), but recently I have really gotten into Black Falcons. I now consider them to be my favorates.

I happen to like Royal Knights the best, mainly because they came out during my childhood. The set designs were really neat, they always contained a healthy amount of troops, and they complimented the older sets by giving us new types of sets such as the drawbridge set (okay it's actually a bridge) and the King's carriage set, (which is a nice army builder.)

Second would have to be Forestmen. Need I defend that claim?

I'd have to say that, for me anyway, the best will allways be the RK. The first king fig, generic scale torsos in the castle, and three different faction torsos made this a great line. (okay so it was the first castle faction I collected all of as well)
My birthday has the habit of rubbing up on mother's day every 4-5 years and I once asked for Dungeon Masters Castle. I didn't get it on the saturday designated my birthday and my little heart broke until my mom got ready for church sunday and said there was one more gift. I'll never look at a BK shield without thinking how good my mother was to me.
I also will never forget my first lego set ever, camoflouged outpost, and the fun I had as a kid playing Robin Hood.

So
1. RK
2. BK
3. FM
4. WP ('cause they just kick Megablocks)

Sorry for my longwindedness,
Ser Loktar

My answer would have to be, which faction don't I like. But if I had to pick I'd say Crusaders/anything Lion Knights mainly because of the King's Castle...6080 I think? My first castle and near the beginning of my introduction to minifigs. Next would be the Forestmen because of my love of Robin Hood and the feeling I get when I remember my acqusition of the Camoflague Outpost. Third would be the Black Falcons just because...well why not?

Very tricky question. It's a bit of a three-way tie between thge Forestmen, Black Falcons, and Crusaders for me. But if I had to choose, I think I would go with the Forestmen- I love those guys!

My favorite is the Royal Knights. I remember staring at the cataloge with my 6th grade friends trying to figure out how big the 6090 castle would be from the picture--I don't think I've ever been more excited for a set.

After that, probably the forestmen.

Welcome to C-C Rusty Brick! When I was in grade six, sadly few of my friends liked Lego and I almsot entered a dark age. :?
