I work at the Lego Store at the Mall of America, and I can confirm that the set will be available at Lego Stores. They have it pictured on our January Store Calendar. I do not yet, however, know what the release date is for the stores.

I live in the USA.

The price was $99.99. I don't recall any specific mention of where it would be available. Just when.

God bless.
May the blessing of the Lord be upon you. <><

Any idea about time/date frame for Australia? I have every piece in the Castle 2007/2008 set and CANNOT WAIT for this Marketplace. Especially with the addition of more girls!!

I know what you mean! Unfortunately I have no clue about when Australia could see it. I'm sure there are more educated members of this forum who could help out! :D

Not really much to say that hasn't been said... it's ABOUT time... and I think many of us were thinking that this was coming sooner or later.

I will buy MANY of these. 8)

I will, more than likely, buy one and use the instructions as a template for designing similar buildings in different colors.

*sigh* I really need to teach myself how to design MOCs for real.

Apart from the vague dates on the calendar: I spoke with the salespeople at the Tysons store this weekend and they indicated that no shipments of the Market had come in yet, but that they'd be putting it out for sale right on January 1st (assuming it's in stock by then, anyway...).

I can confirm that the Lego Store at the MOA will have the set January 1st. We have only received one copy of it in, which is to be built for display purposes, but should be getting more of them in a shipment early next week.

Slightly off topic news, we just put out some of the new 09 Star Wars sets at the MOA Lego store today (the Yoda set and the Darth Vader set)

I was just at some Mall near New York City and they were already selling it. However, I bought the Dwarves Mine instead.
Woe is me, woe is me, I used to have a hamster tree. Then it got eaten by a newt and now I have no cuddly fruit.

Bravo LEGO, bravo. I've been looking on Bricklink for an older set to spend my savings on, but this is worth it to keep saving. :D
