They were very blurry in the first round of photos, but I descried them as "anomolous" in those first pix. These seem much more plain. Odd that they are "easter egged" in this way. I wonder if kajo isn't right. All the same, I would welcome more fantasy creatures. To me it demonstrats that LEGO is getting the message loud and clear; MAKE STUFF WE WILL CRAWL OVER BROKEN GLASS IN THE BUFF TO GET IN LINE TO BUY!

Didn't notice the belts, probably because I don't have good enough eyes. However, I did notice the helms, and am relatively pleased, since the Shadow Knights were one of the few positives I got out of KKII. Good to see that their helms were retained.pacman110011 wrote:Looks to me that the cart skellies have shadow knight helms. And am I the only who noticed that those aren't just plain ol' viking torsos- fancy new belts!

It's probably way too early to ask, but I'm curious if there's any info on the new Castle line being wide-release or limited to S&H, LEGO stores, and/or TRU outlets?
I really liked the Viking line but had a harder time physically finding the sets I needed since around here they were only sold at TRU and the LEGO stores, and it would be a shame for consumers if the Castle line goes the "exclusive" (read: limited release) route.
Has anyone heard anything yet about that?

I dunno, while trolls would be cool, I think these look FAR too Megablocks-y to me, especially their clubs. I like brickbuilt trolls better (ie Brendan's "Last Stand of the Twilight Knights" from CCCIV). The one from the Harry Potter set was alright in look, but it was far too unposable. The whole troll here just looks wrong, not LEGO-y enough for me. It doesn't even look like the head moves.
As for me I am MUCH more excited about that princess and new hair piece!!!

Anyone notice the sailing ship hidden in the fog in the middle of the picture?

Is it just me, or is there a Viking standing in the mist between the swordsman and knight on the bridge?
To build onto that, is that a viking army in the fog next to Skeleton castle?SavaTheAggie wrote:Anyone notice the sailing ship hidden in the fog in the middle of the picture?
I hope that line is continuing now.

A bit late on the discussion for 2 reasons;
1) I was somehow unable to log-in earlier this week and had to contact the Administrators *ZAP*
2) I had 2 midterms this week. Physical Assessment today. Got a question wrong about auscultating the heart and having a split S2 sound which is bothering me, but now I will never forget it.
The female fig is amazing I will buy 2 of the "Skeleton Cave" set for just that reason.
The human figs overall look believable, even better than KKI IMHO, and certainly better than FK and DM.
I like the dark blue colour scheme.
Castle looks pretty good for parts except for the "window" piece in the towers (train stuff?).
I will be able to comment on my like/dislike of the skellie horses and figs when in hand.
Very excited about these sets. I am putting away money every 2 weeks for these.
*waiting impatiently to see them available on S@H*
