This new little set is too sweet for words. Yes, I'll be getting several.

Sweet! I would have never expected the 2007 line to be so awesome.
Yeah, I think if it were me, I'd drop the lance and opt for a flaming crossbow bolt.

I never could understand how a flaming crossbow bolt could take out a skeleton...

Give me a warhammer anyday! 8)

A warhammer would be far more effective, but a shorter range. ;)

Good job posting the same exact minute as me, TheOrk. :!:

User natelite poste this over at Eurobricks
toywiz has the new castle sets' names out. not sure about price point since some people said they mark up aggressively.

Lego Castle Set Crossbow Attack #7090
$7.99

Lego Castle Set Final Joust #7009
$9.99

Lego Castle Set Knight's Catapult Defense #7091
$12.99

Lego Castle Set Skeleton Prison Carriage #7092
$22.99

Lego Castle Set Skeleton's Tower #7093
$54.99

Lego Castle Set King's Castle Siege #7094
$99.99
I have no idea if this is all the sets and if the prices are real. I surf around, find info and bring it over to my homies at Classic-Castle 8)

That joust is... sweet. Nice way to build an army of armored knights! I think the prices are probably real; and reasonable. Got to buy several of the smallest sets :).

I'm no army builder (as I indicated in my vote in the recent poll), but since my thing is minifigs, I'm so happy that we're getting several minifig-centered sets with this line. 7090 and 7009 are awesome! Yay! :D

I'm not much of an army builder either, but unless Lego ups the number of figures included in the larger sets, its hard to amass even enough figures to man the official castle model, let alone a MOC one.

Have we got an official release on these sets yet?

It looks like i'm going to be buying the majority of the line. I'm still not too hot on the "good vs the undead" theme but judging from the comments here there's plenty of people that will be willing to buy a skeleton or five from me.

I'm definately going to pick numerous jousting and mini-catapult sets though. :D

Yay!

This means I have no reason (or incentive) to purchase any of the bigger sets. The lone female fig will surely be easy enough to snag on bricklink, and this set satisfies my need for both barding and a mounted knight. Heck, LEGO was kind enough to add a minifig opponent instead of a skeleton.

And most important of all, we finally see what the barding should look like. A nice set. My favorite of this line.

Later.

Wow, I'm amazed.
I was always more of a pessimist when it came to the future of Lego's castle line but Lego is really steping it up this year.
That new joust set looks fantastic!

I'll definitely buy at least one of each set and a bunch more of the Joust and Crossbow attack sets.
Now its time to save money!

I can only imagine what will be in store for 2008?

Has anyone else mentioned that the princess in the dragons claws (on the human castle box) seems to have light blue Princess Leia hair?

If so, sorry. If not, that's what I see.
