Yeah right.

Ya'll are just captivated by her cause she's pretty.

If she looked like this,

somehow I suspect this thread would just be about her army and not her gender. ;)

Really? So are you from Belarus (Eastern Europe) too? She and I are both migrants to the USA and we both live in NY. Although Im from the Philippines (Southeast Asia).

By the way... She knows of my LEGO addiction and would've told me that she had relatives who collects LEGO too.
natepc wrote:What I don't understand is the point of all this. Yes, a girl who has a huge army. Your point? Is it that amazingly uncommon?

Then again, I've never been that fond of army building, never saw the point or had the funds.

Nate
Army building is fun. As its like having your own personal army to fight your LEGO battles for you. Large armies = more "LEGO military power" for the AFOL who owns it. And yes, girl collectors are rare as it is, and female army-collectors are rarer still.
davee123 wrote: Castle armies get pretty huge for some collectors, because, well, collecting armies is fun! And there's the usually-testosterone-induced (but I guess not in this case) contest of "who has more?". I know there are people out there who have 5000+ castle minifigs (I've only got about 4,000 minifigs *total* let alone that many *castle* figs), so rest assured it's pretty difficult to claim the title of 'biggest castle army'. There's always some lurker out there with twice as much!

Got pics?

Oh come on; the majority on here are male, so when we see a good-looking girl with Lego, who can blame us for lavishing a little attention beyond the plastic?

Um...anyway, nice army

Sadly, no. I used to keep all my figs assembled, but it got too difficult to keep them that way, so now I'd have to put together all 4000-or-so figs that I have (my stats say I have 3945 figs, but that's not counting about ~150 skeletons, and the other few dozen figs I could probably put together from odds and ends). Back when I used to keep them whole (I had about 1000 figs or so at the time) I would set them all up for the sake of viewing tons of 'figs, but now it'd probably be way too tedious :(

I've been busy with new-job/career related stuff. Thats why I haven't posted any new "army pics" of my own.

I hope to get at least 2,500 or so, up using 12 new bley 48x48 baseplates and a number of good ole green 32x32s. Maybe sometime next month? As Im still putting together some soldiers.

Good to see that Phrenic changed her gallery's title.

... ???

Wow, you really took that old Brickshelf title of her's personally!

So, what would happen if that was like just half of her army?

...and your 'mysteriously unrecent, unphotographed' army was smaller than hers by a thousand (1000) troops.

...Wouldn't that just ruine your day! :P

And you know, this could just be a guess... but i'm beting she lives somewhere in America and not overseas just by the look of these two photos:

A decent army!! My purist ideals cause me some discomfort when seeing the blue ink colored fright-knight shields, amongst other things.
However, I have a problem setting up my armies right now due to some obstructions in the living room. Otherwise I would have plenty of room to display about 3,000 minifigs.
A likely story... lol. Actually, that's quite understandable.

I've recently finished building my lego tables. I'll speak to my brother about posing our armies. Should start a new thread for army posting. ;)

Although I was originally repulsed by all the customs, they're actually starting to grow on me. The use of Megablok stuff every now and then is interesting.

However, I can see at least one female islander torso that's been customized in a way I disagree with. :P
