Nice MOC! Although... would it be possible for anyone to make a more scaled version?

That was the most awesome castle I have ever seen! How expensive was that thing OR do you work for the LEGO co.?

That is totally amazing. I actually love the look of the light gret bricks and white personally. I also have to say the soldiers look very nice as well. Excellent job. Shows a great deal of dedication and creativity. Making something that only exists in writting or on a movie screen can be tricky. I love the details to the buildings especially. The white tower is great! As said before the way you finished those roofs are very clever.

I am waiting patiently (most of the time) for the orcs to be unleased here in the South of England but nothing yet. Have gotten a few from the recently released sets but 3 orcs are somewhat outnumbered, besides orcs work best in massive hordes not in pairs...

A great deal of years ago one of my best friends and I attempted to do a Minas Tirith. It took us the better part of 8 months and in the end was so big we hardly could leave it up as it began to take over most of my room. It was fairly low and not to scale at all but is was pretty clever for my age. In the end we decided to use the green foam used in fake plants as the levels underneath and put plates on top. The tunnels went through the green foam. The mountain behind the city also was this green foam but textured and in the end set upon with loads of trees and lego plantlife. It was fun and now I wish when I was growing up digital cameras had been more common.

Hi Stefan,

I am impressed. This Minas Tirith version is outstanding I think. It all fits together:

- the scale
- the colors
- the building techniques

Every place on the MOC got the same attention and in every corner there is some action and nice details.

I don't miss the scale. It is very set-looking and I like it really! Everyone how has participate in doing some Tolkien stuff knows the difficulty to match the scale.

ps: only criticism - I don't like the decals and custom flags. Not especially yours. I don't like them in general. But I know, custom decals and flags brings more realistic in a MOC. Anyway, I think you can live with my opinion.

great job keeping the main vision of the movies but also bringing in the book.

It is not impossible. But it will require 3 to 4 times the amount of bricks. I'm passing for the opportunity for now.

But who knows where we will be in 5 years?

I see your point. The customizing was also what I enjoyed the least during the whole construction...
