Looking good. I don't have anything intelligent to add, but would like to say again how fascinating it is to follow this process, and thanks for posting it - I really appreciate it.
Great job, Sava! Just like everyone else, I am following this process even if I don't post, 'cause all I would do is reiterate again and again the words "fantastic" and "great."

I notice that you've designed pews for your Cathedral. Is it safe to assume that the Cathedral will be set in a contemporary setting? Irrespective of the time period, this is absolutely fantastic work thus far. It really is a testament to just how much you've improved since moving to trains. Your previous work was great, but this looks like it is going to be absolutely stunning!
Yes, I must hang my head in shame. The Cathedral I'm basing this off of, St. Patrick's in New York, is not Gothic, but Neo-Gothic ("Gothic Revival"), and wasn't started until the 1800's. My cathedral is more than likely... a... a...
...town MOC...
But... I've never been in a church or Cathedral that didn't have pews, so it's something I and most Americans are used to.
I'd like to think my time in the Train realm has helped me improve my building skills. It certainly has given me a new perspective as to what is "good enough" and what is "much better".
What struck me most at this stage (after I picked my jaw off the ground) is how well the proportions work; I saw in your Flickr stream that you've been working with a fairly detailed ground plan, but how much planning did you do for the elevation to get it to look so good?
