Sometimes I hate the internet.

Before the entire world was wired the first I would learn of a set would be when I got the LEGO catalog. No leaks, no previews, no flawed pics, no nasty rumors, none of this...

I'm not too worried. The Vikings will come out one way or another...this just gives me more time to save up cash.

And, no offence meant, but I can't really trust a source from a Bionicle site.

Same way I feel. There's too many good things this year, and the last thing I need is more stuff I want.: So,I say, thank you TLC.Let the stuff come in waves.Bombardment (SP?) can get annoying. (Not sarcasm,i'm serious.Really)

I'm not sure when we're going to get these. I would suspect that Europe is going to get these first. I hope that they follow shortly thereafter, rather than becoming a line that is exclusive to Europe.

Europe frequently gets sets before we do, so if the Vikings were pushed back in North America, it wouldn't surprise me. After all, the preview for the Vikings line isn't being run in any North American catalogs.

Still, there hasn't been any North American confirmation. Its very possible that this line won't make it to America until 2006  . The worst part of it, is as a Canadian, I'm forced to pay higher prices than an American, and I don't get the benefit of better set selection like most Europeans  .

Ha! I would much rather be a Canadian than an American these days. Just hope our newly allowed pollution doesn't reach you up north.....

Back on topic, I don't agree with the people saying that releasing Vikings at the same time as KKII and HP is a bad idea. Except for the numerous catapult sets, there really isn't any overlap between the sets. The Viking longboat is unique, the Viking fortress is unique, the baby blue knights are unique..... very unique. If it weren't for the dragons included in the Viking sets, I would say they were targeted for an older audience than KKII and HP.

It's an open border...

Anyway, I actually hope that KK2 and Vikings come out several months apart. That would give my finances time to recover.

The wise man has spoken ! No offense either but when DoubleT writes that it will come out this year, it means that he has been told by someone who is really reliable (from instance from inside TLC) that the vikking line was coming out this year.
lets mak it simple so everyone can understand :

Vikkings - come - 2005 - confirmed - Lego

Still not sure ? mhhh, I give up

Sweetness. I never really doubted, but I'm glad this is confirmed all the same. :)

Good call Dragonlord! Redaxe you need to change your user name to "Red Sickle&Hammer".

....anyway, it doesn't matter to me if TLC did put all of the cool lines out at the same time, that just means I'll be working a ton of overtime. Maybe I should just get a 2nd job at ToysRUs.

Hi!

From Jan Beyer (TLC) the following was posted at the 1000steine.de forum:

Dino Attack will be released only in North America.

Vikings will be released only in Europe.

What the Megablocks!

That is so bad. Europe gets cool Vikings; we get that one piece DINO crap. I say that USA and Canada unite and take over the world...

Haven't they already done that? ;)

But hey! Europe gets Vikings first! Can't wait to brag here with my longboat fleet of 200 hundred ships! :D
