Congratulations to the winners. And thank-you to the Admins for sponsoring this contest. The competition is tougher each year.

Wow! I'm honored to be placed in such company. Talk about pressure. I'd better get building...Sir Nelson wrote:Please be on the lookout for MOCs from these great Castle builders - to name a few: Mark Stafford, Stone Goblin, Kenn Oldham, Sean Ericksen, Jim, MOCkingbird, et. al.

Wow! Second competition win in a month - how shocked am I?!
I thought for sure that Ryan had the Misc. category locked with Shroom Rock!
For all six of my entries to get honourable mentions is just fantastic, thank you. I really enjoyed returning to castle MOCs after a two year break and promise to return with more castle in the near future!
I spent far more time then I should have looking at all the wonderful entries and I'm sure competition will continue to be just as stiff next year! Oh and Sir Nelson, congratulations, you're a deserving winner of Master Builder, great MOCs!
Cheers,
Mark.

Congradulations "Master Builder Sir Nelson" and "Admin's Pick MOCkingbird" winners.
I sure enjoyed the creativity displayed in this fun contest. Can't wait to see what will be shown for CCC4.
My most favorite moc of the winners is Siege of Eger by Kenn Oldham.
I like how it shows the ending days of the Defenders(Castles) having the advantage because of the introduction of cannons. Also the action of the scene is quite nice with the running soldiers with one injured/dead and his buddy is seeing if he's alright, the rubble on the ground, the sappers sapping while men listen for digging and the defenders just trying to last another day of this grueling siege. Well that's what I see when looking at it this cool detailed moc.

Thanks to the admin's for running a great contest. Looking closer at the prize winners I see many details I'd missed in earlier perusal, which I think shows how much time the admins spend going over the entries. Congrats to all the winners.
Meanwhile, thanks for the compliments. Many of the entries I especially liked did indeed win, but some of my other favorites include the Assassination in the Study, the Mountain Side Cottage, and the Siege at Wolf Outpost. Well done!

My First Post
Hi, I've lurked for... years. I entered Castle Room Interior: the Royal Study and The Prince's Bedroom.
I can't believe I won, I keep checking the page to make sure I'm not mistaken. I honestly thought Stone Goblin or Mark Stafford would win. There are so many innovative and spectacular MOCs in this contest! I am truly honored to be part of this community and share my MOCs with all of you.
Thanks to everyone at C-C.com for this contest and inspiring creativity!

Hey AmberStone,
Welcome to CC! As I said in my "my thoughts" thread, I loved both your entries. I hope this contest has flushed you out of hiding and you'll continue posting.

I did see your comments! You have a great attention to detail and you're right on track thinking of these rooms belong in a tower! I had originally intended to stack the Study and Prince's room (which is why the Study has tiles on top) and add a third story, perhaps a kitchen with garden on the first level. However, my puppy got excited and knocked over the Royal Study and it shattered. It might have been due to the small cat in that MOC that offended him.Bruce N H wrote:Hey AmberStone,

I never did figure out how to make a conical roof, but I suppose I'll get around to it someday.

but may I ask, if one of the points of point giving was playbility, then why did a vignette won in the misc. catagory? Congratulations sir nelson and all the others.
