Hmm... my 100+ skeletons are no obsolete ...or they have new friends to play with.

Overall, I like this far better than the first KK2 pictures I saw. The castle has a much more classic feel to it, the soldiers look appropriately generic, and I think the "knights fighting skeletons" bit will appeal to kids. The heraldry with the crown is actually quite nice. This could be the start of something good.

I for one don´t like the metallics (but they are better than speckled at least) but apart from that I like most of what I can see in this pic. The new sturdy skeleton desing is a nice touch and the return of some old helmets is wonderful. Can´t say much about the buildings from this pic but the castle looks quite promising (a lot better than Morcia at least ;))

And the scimitars that the skeletons have look quite sweet, finally a scimitar that´s not the size of a whol fig!

Fantastic. Isn't this the perfect compromise between the needs of AFOLs while catering to the kiddy market? Have LEGO been listening? It certainly seems like it.

Thanks LEGO! IMO you have got it right

Are you sure they aren't the size of a whole fig? They sure look big to me. The skeleton up front is holding a small curved sword, but in the background the swords look huge!

Actually I´m afraid you are right after looking again... but still better than the old scimitars IMO.

I just saw this on Eurobricks! It looks amazing. I'm not much for the new skeletons, but I think I see a flail down a the bottom of the picture. Also, I am extremely happy because some of the soldiers have the round KK1 helmets on! This year will be great!

This is where civilian sets would be handy, for some minstrels...

Well, well! Isn't this what we have been asking for. This would be a "castle" line in my evr-be-humble opinion. Though I'm not a fan of the metallics, skeleton army and other nods to Mega Bloks, I know they are just that; LEGO's attempt to woo kids over. Thus far juniorization on a large scale has been resisted, let's hope it stays that way. I would like to see some visored helmets too.

I like the rest very much. The new weapoms seem to be in keeping with the traditional weapons. The heraldry is uninspired, yet workable. Do the torsos seem to be stickered to anyone else?

All in all the turnaround of the product line seems to be nearly complete. Next I would like to see them pick up from where they left off. The Forestmen were the last great new faction, time for a new one! Excellent!

Keep in mine that this is probably a prototype, albeit a nearly finalized on. The new printings are probably still being finalized and printing machines prepared. Let's not all panic just yet.

Mmmm... minstrels... Delicious, delicious minstrels... *drools*

:D

I really like the new skeletons. They're not so radically different that they stand out (as long as you give them an old head), and they appear to be drastically more poseable.

Oh, and the new undead horses? Sweet!

Naturally, the castle would be that expensive. But the rest of the prices look ok.

Where did you find that list by the way? Eurobricks?

Personally, I think those are just part of the scenery.

But the rest of it looks great.

i'm not real familiar with how lego converts prices from US->Canadian. can you give me a guesstimate of how much these might be in US? (does it basically follow the exchange rate or...?)
