Here is an small free build as an prologue for the LC3.
Prologue: At the old hermit
For decades a cut throat crimnal organisation of brigands know as Le Kharidiens have terrorised the Loreesi land and also all the lands of Roawia. Now prince Jarius, Loreesi nobles and the knights have decided to get rid of this plaque from Loreesi lands once and for all. Sending out knights over the land to find out something about them, who is their leader and where they are hidding. So these knights of justice have dwelled out in the Galapano desert to find an old man who live there to ask him if he knows something about these brigands.
Hopefuly I will have the LC finished before the deadline, much going on right now and I am building an other creation too and then I am thinking and planning what I will build for the GC.

I certainly hope to compete as well,

But I read something against it in the FAQ thread. We will have to see what the others think about it.
Great job mencot! It's very creative to incorporate it into your LC3 story. 2 points Btw.

So guys, as some of you know, I am building Cape Havoc, the pointy bit underneath the capital.
I need some kind of small building to go on the top. i'm having some kind of cave at the bac k, with step leading to the top of the cliff, and maybe a wall, but I'm not sure about that, what do you guys think should be on it?
Any ideas?

Hey Hayden

, I know I am not in your faction, but I have some ideas.
After looking at your wip on flickr, you have a pretty good start, the rocks are fine. Some sort of rough sea would be cool, similar to what Mark does. On top of the rocks, instead of a somewhat random mixture of brown, tan, and dark tan, something to think about would be to have brown near the front fading into dark tan, and then into normal tan. That has been done pretty effectively in other mocs recently. Little patches of green throughout would make sense since it is near the coast, too. If you could incorporate a palm or two, that would be nice. As for what is going on top, I think a lighthouse would be perfect, and would make a lot of sense on a point like this. You could even make it fortified, and incorporate it into somesort of castle/city wall. Also, if you choose to put anysort of building on the point, make sure move out the brown/tan/dark tan plates underneath to make sure you conserve them. One last thing that is good to see is that you are not mixing any yellow with the tan.
I hope these suggestions help you out. Good luck with your moc!

I've just done the CIC. Can I still participate on the local challenge? The time shouldn't be a problem (Weekend

) but probably the number of bricks...

THE FIRST GLOBAL CHALLENGE HAS BEEN ANOUNCED!!!
Check it out
here.
We need to build a feast! Let's show the other factions what were made of!

In the info there wasn´t the scoring and the importance of that everybody in the faction who can participate in the GC
Quoting AK what he wrote in the Garheim thread

You can find more information about it
HERE
Needless to say, group participation is going to be
VERY important. Our province gets 5 points for
EVERY PARTICIPANT WHO ENTERS, so be sure to put something together for it, if you can. You'll receive 5 personal points for entering, and 10 more for winning, so this is your biggest chance for points to date. Be sure to take advantage of it!
Post a thumbnail in the entry thread, linked above, that links to your entry in the MOC forum, as we've previously done for the Local Challenge. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or ask in the LCC Discussion Thread.
So this is
VERY important. Our province gets 5 points for
EVERY PARTICIPANT WHO ENTERS. So lets show the other factions who are the "greatest" but also remember this should be fun
For the glory of Loreos
