Hey guys, so I had this idea for a way for us Garheims to share and discuss. So like once a week or so, I would create a private room in the C-C Chat service thingy, for us to just chat and brainstorm, and share whatever Garheim only info we may have. I was thinking we could do this sometime on the weekend since it seems like a lot of us are busy during the week.
Tell me what you guys think.

As the Faction Liason, I welcome you to Garheim. It will take few days for all of your "paperwork" to catch-up, but as noted in the CIC you can consider yourself part of the cool crowd (pun intended).

Currently there is a the third Global Challenge underway, the information about it can be found here. Part 1 is closed, but you can still enter Part 2 if you have the time . . .

For the two Garhim's that have entered the challenge already - thank you the MOCs are great!. I know that my MOC is almost done, but might have to wait for the weekend to get photographed. I hope to see many more entries before the end of the contest!

Awesome, thanks! I'll be sure to build an entry but I have a question : will my entry still be eligible if the "paperwork" stuff hasn't been made legit? Judging by how fast you responded (thanks again) should I even be worried about that? I going to start building now!

Yes, you can enter even if it is not approved. Here is an excerpt from the CIC first post. If you have any other questions, please Private Message me so we do not clutter up the board. Thanks.

Update 2012-06-09: It can sometimes take me a while to get around to approving entries. If you want to enter a contest or challenge but aren't approved yet, you can still enter and your contest points will be added once your CIC entry has been approved.

- Correct faction sigil use

There are no size or quality requirements, but focus on your character and try to build a creation that shows your character in a natural and representative setting. Remember that this build will define your character more than any other.

"Assault of the Magic Isle"

Mattias and his men finished their training and met up with he rest of the Garheim army. Within two weeks, they had arrived on the Magic Isle. As he and his men arrived on the Island, Mattias set up camp right at the beach. Around three o'clock in the morning, Mattias roused his men. by four thirty they were ready to move. Mattias and his troops marched around the island, heading through the slightly sandy forest. He came into contact with an enemy camp at six fifteen AM. Mattias called his second in charge Tir and they discussed a plan of attack. They decided that they would charge the unfinished half of the enemy encampment.
"Charge! Go for the opening!" Screamed Mattias.
The Garhim formed a shield wall, and ran on. A small contingent of troops made a run around the enemy flank.
"Gaaah!" Cried a troop, blue magic stabbing his chest, while maroon blood shot out like shards of glass.
"Look out! Oh- Oh God! What happened to him!" Yelled a soldier, who was knocked to the ground from the force of the magic. The Garhim did catch the enemy by surprise, though. Only one magician was awakened. He was dispatched seconds after killing the soldier. Garheim had taken their first stronghold on the Magic Island, though many more will fall.

Well, I'm back from vacation in snowy Alaska (the perfect place for a Garhim to chill out for a while ). Thanks to Gurusql for keeping up with the scoring while I've been gone, and it looks like we've got quite a few phase 2 entries in already, but I know we can do even better, so keep them coming!

Lastly, welcome to our new members. We are glad to have you, and I think you'll find that you've made an excellent decision in choosing to align yourselves with Garheim! We have the best organization and leadership of all the factions (if I do say so myself ), and I think you'll really enjoy being a part of it.
