Very nice. That maiden...whew! The sorcerer looks to have and interesting torso possibly too, maybe another reason to buy the tower set...?

I just wish there were pics of the soliders. We already know what they look like, but a pic like these would be nice too.

Anyways, nice find and thanks for posting it. However, it seems as though the hair on the maiden is not actually a new part (sorry if this has been covered, 30 pages is alot to look through).
See the comparison: Maiden, to hair...sigh...

That maiden looks nice, the wizards legs could do a nice touch to a Islander or another figure. That king looks nice also, I love that knight also.

I think the new hair piece we saw before is being used on the Hermoine fig:

I am still curious whether there is printing on the torsos underneath the armor. On the picture of the king I think I can see a belt buckle peeking out from the bottom of the armor.

it would be very nice if the torso is printed, maybe a new print we have not seen before? :D

Ah, nice eyes! I hope its not another plain torso anyways.

As to the hair, at least it's still coming out. I'll have to pick up a couple of them from BL at least.

If any part of the new castle theme can possibly outstrip the Golden Castle era, it is these figs, particularly the king and knight. I especially like the Gold on Black of the king's torso, and the simple but eloquent design of the knight. Both the maiden and wizard are also very well done.

Finally, I close-up of the King's Armor. I'm kind of dissipointed that it's not gold crome, but ahh well, it still looks great.

The printing on the armour is fantastic, as far as printed armour goes. I would have been happy with plain armour in those colours, but this is a nice bonus. The heraldry is so simply and historically believable *read not like that monkey business of...what was that line again?*

The maiden....mmmmmaaidaenn *drool* Best female Castle fig, only comparison was Queen Leonora. Although, it does appear she was on the rack for a while as her arms are stretched at the wrists :?

The wizard is kinda neat, with those printed legs and all. Some very specific figs in this line, with a lot of printed detail. The undead skellies eyes are very cool, even if you don't care for the "undead"

The more I see of Castle 2007 the more I like. My advice to you all is buy them when you see them, because I don't think they will be gathering dust.

man it took me awhile to read this thread.

I know I am jumpin in here late, but oh well.. on the figs, I LOVE the new figs. why, it almost looks like they got a few customizers and picked their brains.

the printing is great, and the silverized helms, and new weapons? dude.. freakin sweet. I am not crazy about the black part on the knight though. Is it supposed to be shadow or something? hehe a little brasso will take care of that right enough.

anywhoo... man am I gonna go broke with this stuff.

Actually this quite suprised me. I'm not completely certain that these are the final products, maby outdated prototypes. Firstly the hermione hair but also the (I think) rascus face (I could be wrong on this not owning any KK2 myself) and the fact that the skeleton sythe is up-side-down. Here's hoping we get better hair and face.

God speed

Ummm, just a quick question :?:

What are we/TLG calling this new faction?

Are they still under the banner of the Knights Kingdom sets... or are they considered a new incarnation?

 Just wanted to know, thanx,

ooooo very good question. from the crown they could be a brand new incarnation of the original yellow castle royal knights :D - but then I dont think they had a name either.

Oh, yah... i remember reading the name "Crown Knights."

And that's an interesting thought to think of the connection to the Yellow Castle and the original Knights...

But do enough people validate this connection for the new 2007 set to be included with the 1978-1982 sets?

I personally think that there isn't enough of a direct link to stretch this expanse of time.
While the symbology is consistent, the colors and Crown design are just too different.

But that's just my humble opinion.

(I believe that is an entirely new faction for 2007)
