First:

Gavin's life flashed through his mind as he hurtled toward the worm, sword flashing in the light.
He struck with all his strength.
Suddenly, he was lying on the ground with the worm nowhere in sight. He stood up and looked around. A small black worm was disappearing into the ground at his feet.
"Well. That was unexpected." Gavin said aloud.
"It must be that there is a wizard around and he created the huge worm to keep people out of this forest. I wonder why."

Gavin traveled on through the forest and reached the other side without many more dangers.

Second:

"When is that boy coming back? I need him- oh! Here he is! Well, my lad?"

"Gavin, *panting heavily*- a group of Loreesi *gasp*- are coming this way at top speed! I think - *breathing deeply* - I think they know you're in the area!"

Gavin smiled.

"Well, let's meet them. How many did you say there were?"

"About... about 5 I'd say, not many, but all heavily armed, with archers."

"Sounds like a good fight, easily won. These foolish Loreesi aren't very agile in their armor in this desert heat."

Roger grinned.

"That's for sure, sir!"

Today is tomorrow.

Burlogh I don't know how else to say it, but that is simply put one of the best siege engines I have seen. The magnitude of it is so impressive.

The city of Traykid is interested in acquiring some siege engine plans for their Dwarven engineers.
Dame Kalina of Traykid is offering barrels of gold for designs and plans of high end weaponry.

Whom would she need to contact?

We've got a couple of GCV entries. I hope others are working on theirs now. I'm working on mine, and am about to kick it into overdrive to get it done
