Finally, Master Builder. For me it came down to three top builders:

Aaron Andrews/DARKspawn:

Micah Berger/The Green Knight:

Stone Goblin:

Here's what I said in discussing these with the other judges:

It's really hard, as they each play to very different strengths. DARKspawn is all about large MOCs that are relatively traditional builds, but done exquisitely. Micah is pretty much about his amazing talent with brick built beasts. Stone Goblin is most creative in scope, using a variety of different styles.

All of these were great bodies of work and I would have been happy with any of them winning. DARKspawn was my favorite overall, though, and a very worthy Master Builder. Congratulations to him, to all of the category winners, and indeed to all who made this such a fun contest.

Sorry about the delay in getting all of my thoughts out there. Time now to rest up until next year's CCC! :D

Thanks for the kind words, Bruce, it was a real honour to participate in a contest with such incredible competition. Thanks to everyone; admins, contestants, & to those who donoted prizes, you all made this the most incredible Castle themed contest to date, & quite probably the best LEGO contest ever - well at least in my book ;)

Cheers :)

I have to admit I was anxious to see what you thought of my entry. I appreciate the critique and I'm glad you liked my snot's all around. I payed special attention to them and their placement. I can't wait till next year to do it all over again. Thanks Bruce!

Thanks, Bruce. In finishing this, you’ve given me the perfect excuse to go back and re-appreciate the craftsmanship of these entries. –with commentary, none the less.
And as much as building five cccv entries in two months drove me out of my mind…. I can’t help but dig it after looking back at all the sweet Mocs it brought about.

By the way…

I guess should answer this. It’s supposed to be St. George and the dragon. Which my sources tell me was a popular play around Christmas time in those days. I think that I said something about it in the description.

Lol True, true. It’s shameful I know, but hey- you can’t say that I don’t know how to play to my strengths. ;)

Good idea. With the serious coolness exhibited last year, I have high expectations for this one.
:)
Let us stop for a moment and ponder the signiture...

Ok, enough of that!
