Hmm....I never posted a reply in this topic? Better late than never I always say.
1: Star Wars. It's pieces provide a ot of castle things for me. A LOT.
2: Pirates. Though I never got any of these sets I spent hours drooling over the catalog pages for these sets.
3: Sometimes, after seeing Indiana Jones I will bring out the good old Johny Thunder Characters.

I think most of the people here feel your pain in that department. If I had lots of money, I'd like to get most of the Castle, Pirates, Space, and town sets produced up until 1992 (with some extentions all the way up until 1996).Dragonlord Esq. wrote:If I had lots of money
As it stands though, I realize that I can only really focus on one area, and since Castle is my favorite, that is what I am sticking too.
There's always hope that someday I'll be able to get some of the Pirate and Space sets that I've longed for since I was a child....
suddenly I got the urge to go buy a lottery ticket...

Personally speaking, I consider the Vikings (once present) to be a part of Castle. Not an official subtheme, I suppose, but it fits in just as well as (or better than) KK2, and for what it's worth, I think of that as Castle too...Dragonlord Esq. wrote:Considering they haven't come out yet, I'm impressed with your faith in TLC. Hopefully I'll end up editing my favorites to include this.Duke_Dave wrote:1. Vikings
The Vikings sets are the first sets I've actually really looked forward to in a long time. There were a lot of sets that I thought were impressive (mainly SW sets) but I didn't get the urge to run out and buy them.
The Viking line is giving me that urge... and I think that is saying something because I haven't "felt the urge" (for new sets anyway) in almost 10 years.
I also consider the Vikings to be castle, as Viking raiders were terrorizing the coast lines at the same time fortresses and castles were going up (or were up). I'm thinking that my Black Knight's might finally have some competition.
