16. We have typically allowed people to put the fig in a minimal setting (e.g. with a wall behind them or some trees or whatever). However, we will completely ignore the setting, so you're probably wasting your time - the judging is on the fig and their accessories alone. You should include at least one picture that is just the fig against a neutral background to facilitate judging.

14. Yes if it is a piece / color combination that TLG has produced. Altbricks has quite a few shades of green and other colors which haven't been made by LEGO yet.
OK, so as long as it is one of the following colors, it is good to go:

Bright Green
Dark Green
Dark Orange
Dark Red
Green
Red
White

Can a fantasy Castle be from Narnia, such as Cair Paravel, or Miraz's Castle?

Sir Valiant~
17. No. The admins have decided not to allow fairy tale stories written after 1900 for this category. We will consider adding Narnia, LOTR, Hobbit, etc categories to future contests. Feel free to build these types of entries in the miscellaneous categories. Thanks.

1) Do the sponsors of a particular category get to help judge the entries in that category?

18. I can tell you as someone who has donated in the past and as an admin, the judging is left to the admins who run this contest.

19. Do you mean something like this? Sure, that would be fine.

I was wondering something. I've been working on a rather large gatehouse, and have shown a few WiP pictures. However, I've torn down and rebuilt everything since then in a different layout and size. Would this still be eligible?

I asked this before and t seem that it was overlooked:
For the Vehicle VS Vehicle category, does it have to be just two vehicles i.e. can there be three, or four vehicles? And should the Vehicles by the focus?

Hi admins. For the fairy tale castle/structure, I had an idea from a fairy tale but it involves multiple buildings of equal importance (which form a core part of the story). Would this be eligible or does it need to be a single structure? Thanks.

20. Please pm an admin with the WIP pictures and possibly a picture of the current build. We typically review rebuilds on a case by case basis.

21. Vehicles should be the main focus. The admins will discuss multiple vehicles and get back to you.

22. Multiple structures are allowed if they are an integral part of the fairy tale.

When it says 'composite images' are you referring to a photo collage? Or can it be a .Gif file that simply shows the function on a loop like this: http://giphy.com/gifs/lego-12TY8vfPyfSePK

I remember seeing an entry like this I think back during CCCX though I may be wrong so I just wanted to check
23. You may have seen a .gif file someone compiled on one of their entries, but it was not a submitted photo into the CCC. I don't believe a .gif was ever allowed in an entry, and again year we will not allow .gif.

But please remember, you pick the 5 photos you get to enter for judging. You can post extra photos you want on your flickr, or whatnot that are not for judging. So sure make your .gif, but it can not be one of the 5 photos that you enter for the CCC.
