We'll say 11:59 pm Feb 08. That gives everyone a month. :D

I have also changed the rules so you can enter TWO entries per catagory.

2 entries per category but still only 2 entries total? Or have you changed the total number of entries allowed as well?
Might I suggest posting a new, final list of rules?

Feb. 8th?! Blast! I wanted my currently not so fully armored and equipped Chinese to be in it, as well my my equally not so fully armored and equipped Indians.

Oh well, I'll withdraw from the contest again. But beware next year! :P :twisted:

This is what happens when you buy minifigs and minifig parts first and equipment much later. :x

Darn.... just when I had 220 Chengtoushan light infantry nearly ready. Actually, about 192 Chengtoushan light infantry are on a 48x48 lt gray baseplate as we speak, but only the first 5 rows (12 rows, 16 columns) have weapons and helmets.

Wow......
Compared to what you and others are saying, I know I'm gonna lose. But I have an ace up my sleeve. :twisted:

New and updated rules.

1) You may use custom armies. Such as stickers and custom weapons.

2) You may NOT use firearms unless entering with pirates.

3) Entries have to be posted by Feb 20( is that enough time Jpinoy? 2005, 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

4) You may have two entries per catagory. That gives you a chance for 8 entries.

5) When you enter for weight class small(20 troops) This means ten in each army. Ten men In the castle(If a castle is in your battle) and ten besiegers. Or 3 on one and 7 on the other. The armies do NOT have to be equall

6) another thing is if Ninjas can be used.

7) Say you have 25 men on one army and 25 on the other. Since this is 50 men and 50 is closer to 80 than you will enter into medium class. Same rules apply if you have 15 and 15. You will be entered into the small class.

9) If you do not comply to the rules above you will be disqualified from the contest.

Catagories

-Naval
-Open Field/ two armries with no apparent besieger
-Hit & Run
-Castle Siege

Weight
10 = very small

20 troops = small

80 troops = medium

150 troops = large

300 = giant

1,000 or more can be called Battle of Armageddon.

Voting: Voting will be held after ALL entries are recieved. I'm still thinking of ways to hold voting. You can only have so many poll questions in a poll so I may have to figure out a different system. Any ideas are accepted of course.

That's all the rules and regulations. Please read ALL of them so no mistakes are made.

Good...The only thing You should edit on there is by distinguishing a city fight from a seige or pitched battle.
I think it would be an open field if 50% or more of the battle field is open field :wink:
It would be a seige if 70% or more of the battle field is buildings.
This is JUST a suggestion but it does make some rules a bit more clear.

Awesome. This will give me more than enough time to finish my landscaping and acquire some more troops.

I think that during a siege, one of the armies must be defending from a fortified position. If two armies just happen to converge on a city, while probably not technically an open field battle, I don't think that it would be considered a siege because there is no clear attacker or defender.

If there are just buildings and no defense then I think it should be considred open field or hit and run. After all the buildings aren't being besieged.
