Armory Preview - Part II
modded arms
Very very nice. I'm not sure I'd want to add them to my castle army, as it would involved getting hundreds of them, but if it were affordable, I'd seriously consider getting a dozen or two, and using them with my military stuff, which requires far fewer figs, and also benefits more from fully posable arms in terms of the figs holding weapons and stuff. Don't let yourself be limited to the catslehead community, it is the sort of thing that lots of AFOLs from across the spectrum might be interested in.

Hi Jeff,
Have you considered "hobbit/dwarf" legs, or even taller legs for trolls/giants/ogres and the like? I have used 1x2 builders to make really tall (and ridiculously skinny) minifigs. I won't be able to make BF DC, so save a little of your runs for me, especially a stray Anduril..

Wow ! You arms (even if there are not LEGO) are really impressive.
I'll get some, for sure !

YES!! These would be great for archers and claymore (or dai-katana) wielders alike! Can I preorder two sets of these along with the new weapons and helm?

I don't know, maybe I'm just too Lego purist, but I'd rather just stick with the old arms. Not to say I wouldn't maybe like to see a few of them produced, but it just seems to me that if they were produced, Lego might catch on to the trend and make nothing but hinging arms.

I like the idea of more articulations. I think the articulatons look a bit wierd - probably just from staring at Lego so much . It is just an idea, but what about appropriate size/coloured shrink tubing over the "arm" part. Would that work to give colour match and less separate look to the arm. I am not sure whether that would hamper function though. I wouldn't suggest shrinking it over the elbow.
If I am way off base sorry, just a thought.
Cheers
