Congratulations to the winners! A big thank you to the King's Council for all the time and effort they put in to run this roleplay, as well as another big thank you to Custom Minifig Syndicate and Custom-Crazy!
And now a breakdown of which faction was the most "honest" (ie voted for other factions instead of just voting for themselves ;) )
Garheim takes the lead as the most "honest" voters, having garnered 34% of the global vote, and voting for themselves 42% of the time, a difference of +24%
Loreos was the second, gathering 16% of the global vote and voting for themselves 20% of the time, a difference of +25%
Outlaws were third, gathering 28% of the global vote and voting for themselves 38% of the time, a difference of +36%
and Lenfald takes the crown as the most "dishonest" faction, voting for themselves 35% of the time, despite only garnering 22% of the overall vote, a whopping difference of +57%! ;)
I'm not sure I understand this. How is it that Lenfald is the most dishonest faction if they voted for themselves 35% of the time, when the Outlaws voted for themselves 38% of the time, and Garheim voted for themselves a whopping 42% of the time. Just because Lenfald had less votes, that doesn't make the amount that Lenfels voted for themselves any higher.

It could be that I'm missing the math behind this, but the raw stats seem to indicate Garheim as the most "dishonest" faction and Loreos as by far the most "honest".

:D Thank you for this honor!
Thank you to all who organized this and congratulations to the other winners. I'm curious which of the custom parts I will receive. They look very nice
This was really a cool challenge with a lot of great builds. Looking forward to the next :o

Because, even though Garheim voted for themselves 42% of the time, they also received the highest global percentage of the vote from everyone combined, meaning that even though they voted for themselves a lot, so did everyone else, so it was not disproportionate. Since the LCC community as a whole picked Garheim as the winner, it makes sense that Garheim would vote for themselves more than for the other factions as well.

Conversely, Lenfald voted for themselves 35% of the time, but only received 22% of the overall vote, meaning that many more Lenfels voted for Lenfel entries than the other factions did, making their voting disproportionately pro-Lenfel.

Does that make sense? :D

(If not, just trust me. I am an engineer with a minor in math ;) )

The numbers for Lenfald gets much worse if I remove all of the votes of people for their own faction (deleting any Garheim votes for a Garheim finalist, for example).
In that case, Garheim is only +16%, Loreos is +20%, Outlaws are +46%, and Lenfald is +65%! (assuming the math in my spreadsheet still works for this scenario - I didn't dig into it much, but it seems correct).

Before any feathers get ruffled, I should clarify that I'm not calling anyone dishonest or a cheater! Certain aesthetics appeal more than others to each of us, and we all have our favorite style. I think that the preference towards one's own faction finalist is less about trying to root for your own faction, and more an indicator that you chose your faction for a reason, that reason being that your faction's style is your favorite!

This helps to explain why so many outlaws voted for Loreos's finalist in "Group B", because it had a very Outlaw-ish appeal to it.

I just say "dishonest" in my breakdown because it was a joke that the Outlaws were ironically the most "honest" LCC members in the last GC, having voted for their own finalists the least of anyone. It's all in good fun, and I do it partly just because I really enjoy statistics!

Congrats to the JJ bros for winning their very first GC! I hope the next one will be even better!

Sweet, it's been a while since I've gotten any new Custom Crazy items. Looking forward to putting them to good use. ;)
