The suspense is killing me! I want to see what will happen to our faction. I hope it's something to get us pumped, or a swift kick in the rear, or something! Our morale has boosted recently, and I would hate for that momentum to just bottom out!
I just want to get the voting done quick to see the next stage of the story line!
I agree! I hope they start the voting soon, it's been over a month since the coronation and we've had little word about any battles or cities conquered. And I hope my character's story line doesn't conflict with the major plot developments too much... I have so many ideas and builds in the works!

Fellow Roawians. I have been reading the threads from the last few pages. I quite like the idea of having two characters. I feel it would widen the possibilities open for creative LCC MOC's. Also, there could be clashes, liaisons, exchanges at some time between these different characters. At heart, I'm more likely to relate to Lenfald than other areas. Not too keen on cold areas [Garheim] , so I joined as an Outlaw . Am working hard to create a Southern Woodland [forest] community ,similar in some ways to Lenfald but "mainly" loyal to Outlaw factions. After all, directly to our north lies the somewhat arrogant province of Loerios. If the Administrative Gods would allow it, maybe there could be a list of characters, wanting to change Provinces [by a direct swap process} ? In real life this happens via emigration and this seems to work okay. Just a thought . I'm somewhat unhappy with Bear Clan taking over large swathes of Outlaw territory. This leaves very small areas for other Outlaws to live in. Is this fair or just and this needs seriously being reviewed ? Lastly, where's the best place to buy a bunch of castle type building blocks. Thanks mi amichi. PS Absolutely love this site and am gradually working my way through all the lovely MOC's posted by LCC members. Just started into LEGO and am slowly increasing LEGO materiel . Stay safe ! Have just lodged my first CIC MOC in Outlaw thread

I think having multiple characters has been brought up before, I'm just not sure where... Right now you can only have one main character. That said if you have more they would fall under the category of 'NPCs', or non-playable characters. You control them, but you don't
play as them. But if you want to change your character the one you have now would have to be killed off/sent away first before your new character is official.
As for Province swapping/switching that isn't allowed at this time. If you have more questions make sure to check out the LCC FAQ thread as well, a lot of questions have been covered there already.
I know what you mean about taking a liking to Lenfald, my Elf is from there so I tend to have a friendlier view of them as opposed to Loreos. And as an Outlaw you don't have to stick to the Magic Isles or the Swamps, the whole land of Roawia is open to settle down in. I like to travel so I haven't really set a 'home base' yet, but it most likely will be somewhere in Lenfald.
RBC commented on your flickr picture about
Bricklink. It's a great site once you get the hang of it. It have loads of pieces & parts, minifigs and sets. So check it out. I hope this answered some of your questions.

Aeridian brings a good viewpoint to this discussion.
My character is an Outlaw, but being a native of Lenfald, he holds them in higher regards. If you are wanting to build for another faction, you can incorporate them into your builds. I am very impressed with the new lion castle figures, so I am finding myself wanting to build more scenarios in Garheim.
I think one character and one character only is the way it should be done, but that doesn't limit our building. I think if we are allowed to have multiple characters, our loyalties may be skewed.

For those who ordered engraved bricks, I will have them in-hand on Thursday!
The price for them ended up being $2 each, which was a bit more than expected, but still a good price for such a high-quality product!
I will send out "invoices" for the bricks and any Travis bricks you may have ordered to everyone this week. I will try to get orders mailed next weekend (will try to assemble orders during Brickcon since I won't be studying during that time anyway

)
GC V finalists who placed orders will have their orders shipped after final voting, so that I can send any prizes you might win at the same time to save on shipping

I'll post pictures as soon as I pick them up on Thursday, but I've heard that they came out very nicely

Yay! Now I can represent my favorite role-playing, forum-based, Lego fantasy, castle-building, story expanding community! (Not sure if that even made sense...)

Thanks Aeridian for your comments. Have started to read LCC FaQ's and also work through the Global Storyline Summary. I'm cool with one character for now and will travel more widely as an outlaw. Have rellies to reconnect with in Lenfal, so won't be robbing everyone. Finally managed to post my character pic [with his girl] . At least on flicker .
Daffyd .

Is it me...or does it seem like LCC and Classic Castle has gone quiet lately in the face of the spaceship race?

Maybe a little, but I don't think it's just the 'space race' that's been affecting things. There's been STEAM, BrickCon and other things that people have been working for. I'm sure it'll all be back to normal soon

Yeah, but with the CCCXI coming up right around the corner, it'll give people a lot of incentive to build in Castle again. And, boy am I looking forward to that.

I agree that LCC has grown quiet. A lot of our builders are younger too, and still in school. I imagine once August hits, the next few months get really hectic.
By the way, this is a question I've been meaning to ask for a while.
How do you technically pronounce Roawia?
I have been pronouncing it "row - uh - wee - uh"
Is that wrong?

I guess I've been keeping the first a silent... hm. So maybe you're right.
