In the advent calendar set? That would be cool but I very much doubt it. The box says how many minifigs are included and the number corresponds to the ones shown on the box art. Sadly, none of them are elves. Still, I'm really looking forward to this set if only for the jester and the new witch.

I suspect there'll be a king's court or tourney set in 2009 or 2010 that makes use of the jester and the maid.

I plan on getting multiples. Combine the maid with the old pirate and forest "girls" and you've got a pretty diverse set of scullery maids for a tavern.

Wow!

That's really detailed. Nice fig. I'll have to get an Advent calendar for sure now, what with all of the great figures that will be in it!

Don't say those sort of things, LEGO may jack up the price :). I'm glad they are introducing civilian figs now. We may be seeing the start of a whole new era of Castle sets. I really like that hat on the jester. I saw a close up image of the red and black version in the 7886 Batman set.

Erm... I tried counting the parts, and got 129, but might have counted several pieces as one, and one as several pieces. Not sure, seeing how everything was blurry enough that things kinda got confusing at the end.
If someone else got bored enough, or determined enough to count the blurry spots, maybe we can get a definite number for now> :)

By the way, does have what they think is a good price estimate, based off the number of pieces? How much do you think this baby is going to be?

I asume it will be $25. That has been the price for all the previous advent Calenders.

If by "all the previous advent Calenders" you mean "last year's Advent Calendar, oops, one of last year's two Advent Calendars" then correct. ;)

There were two advert calendars last year? Actually, besides the $25 calendar from last year, what have been the prices for the calenders, on average? Has it been around $25 - $30 mark?

Any ideas on when they have put Advent calanders out in the past? I know they are for Christmas, but if they are like Halmark they start putting Christmas stuff out in July.

Another thought, who here will be sticking with advent tradition and opening 1 door a day until Christmas?

I bought two last year. One for me and one for the kids. The kids had to wait for each day. Daddy didn't.

Me thinks the same will happen this year.

I will probobly have to open 1 each day since my mom will be buying it. I might get an extra one with my own money and open 2 every day :)
